Getflix is working for me as is ExpressVPN. Express VPN no longer works on Costa Rica but when it's set to US it works fine
That’s mad GetFlix is working for you because it’s not working for a family member of mine. Works fine with a US account though
I use SmartDNSProxy and that wasn’t working up until a few days ago and it started working again. (This always worked with a US account also)

Question re. SmaryDNSProxy. I tested both Getflix & SmartDNSProxy and while Getflix didn't work, SmartDNSProxy did. What I'm trying to figure out though is which of the channel settings applies to HBO? It's not listed in any of them...
Also - is there a quick and easy way to switch it on/off entirely, without changing your DNS settings?

I have group A & C set for US and this works perfectly for me. I'm almost certain that group A is for HBOMAX
I figured out they were the same when I got word for word emails from them... Will keep testing over next few days. Discovered I can watch mlb on prime video if set to USA, which was fun.
Even though they’re the same company services can go down on one and not the other and some services don’t work on one but do on the other.
SSports+ from Turkey works on SmartDNSProxy but not GetFlix. When I contacted GetFlix they said they couldn’t add it.
You need to set up a new Apple ID with US as your country. You don’t need to add any billing info and can just Google an address to use.

You should be able to change to country code to Ireland and enter your Irish number. I’ve a number of accounts set up in different countries for apps and never had a problem using my Irish number. I think they only use it for 2FA.
For no reason that I am aware of, the HBO Max app (version .275) started working again for me yesterday on FireCube with Getflix.
What setting did you have for Getflix, A, B, C, D?

I've tried Tunnelbear through Brazil and Express through Costa Rica with revolut virtual and real cards... No joy on any occasion
I have noticed though that when entering the expiry date it doesn't work unless I use the backspace multiple times before then typing the date. Has anybody else encountered this issue?
Edit: another issue with Brazil is when trying to verify my email address it detects the VPN
Have you tried signing up via the app and Google pay? That worked for me last week.
The app gives me the "Not in Service Area" issue using both of the VPN methods above

Small update, I gave the app a go using a different VPN and it brought me through to the google pay payment of $6.54 per month with a 7 day free trial, but is this the best price it can be gotten for using the app and Google Pay?

When I was setting mine up I switched on Costa Rica VPN, then Google'd "HBO Max Costa Rica", it brought me to a page where I signed up in Spanish and payment was in Costa Rica Colón, 1999 which worked out at €2.73 via Revolut.
I signed up to Brazil on the app using tunnelbear and took the annual sub which is $29.99, worked out around €25 for the year. Assuming the vpn keeps working, thats probably the best value.
Cancelled my sub, it stopped working on the laptop with KeepSolid VPN - was redirected to a page saying VPN detected!!!
Had just got Google Chromecast TV and was hoping to get this up and running!
Still works for me in keepsolid, depends on the server I pick though.

Signed up for Costa Rica account using PrivateVPN free trial. Paid $3.49 for HBO after the 7 day trial finishes via google pay. Back using my Windscribe 50GB free for life set to USA to access now as their US server is great.

I've been having the exact same problem. I can get to the payment page at the discounted price (TunnelBear in Mexico/Brazil/Argentina as Surfshark kept sending me to the USD prices) but it won't accept payment through Revolut. Has anyone managed to get revolut payment accepted recently?
I used Revolut. Set up a new card, didn't work when I put it through first. Refreshed the payment page and it went through no problem then.
