It's a noodle bar, Afaik it's ready to go just waiting on indoor dining to be open.

There's a bit of work going on in one of the vacant units on Roches St, opp Lawless Flowers so hopefully someone is going to open up there.

I wonder if it's a bit off the beaten track ? I seem to remember a Chinese there 20 years ago and then there was a cafe run by Polish or that part of the world (first time I ever tasted Borscht).

Nothing is often the beaten track if it’s decent. Just look at Canteen and Rift (Canteen originally)!

The Polish place was very nice but maybe a bit ahead of it's time as Limerick people still had a very strict view of what was a cafe back then. Also people have crazy notions about distance in Limerick and do consider a 2 minute walk to be off the beaten track

There's a few places up round there now so hopefully that will help and if it's something good you can't get somewhere else it should be fine

Limerick already has 2 spots that are very heavily sushi led so it depends on the definition of "dedicated"

Always great to have more sushi and really adding to High St. as the place to go for food. 3 different types of Asian food a pizza place and a wings place all round that little crossroads
