Money in the build though, it's a big house with a pool.
Nic Cages old house in San Francisco for sale. $9,950,000. Nice view of Alcatraz.

That is an incredible house
you really missed the point. They spent money alright but didn't buy or understand quality. Most of the furniture is Harvey Norman's which is expensive for bad quality and low fashion. It is like an expensive tracksuit
No, that's why I meant by my original comment. It's a tacky house that the owners probably think impresses everyone. The fountain says it all really.
Look at pictures 29 and 30. Have they photoshopped a mountain range in?
it does look that way.
It looks very odd
It would take more than a photoshopped mountain range to make me want to buy that place. It's as dreary as hell and looks like a money pit.
you call this dreary?
Yes. Damp, dreary and dull as dishwater. It looks like you would need bottomless funds to repair the house
I hope all those downlights are changed out for LED's.....
Yep, not creepy at all...!

It looks like a ventriloquist's dummy should be sitting at the window ...
Delighted they are, just delighted to offer that for sale. 🙄😂
250K for a shell and not even a big shell at that.
It's Forth Mountain.
That place could be spectacular - but just gives me the creeps!
I do like all the trees surrounding the house. The house itself would need a lot of work though!
Nope, the hillock next it to is Forth Mountain. Compare photos 29 & 30
I like the site, alot of work to be done
House is a decent size but the amount of money you would need to put in to it! Parochial houses like this all over the place, there's one near where my mom grew up that the priest done and the church grounds and it is definitely one of the nicest properties in the village now. Must have won the lotto
This is just up the road from me but @ 1.5M, Its only a dream but still, I would move in in a heartbeat !
Does that door really get past the bed frame?
Ex-Dermot Bannon and more than 25km to the Dail no matter what Google Maps will tell you. Being sold I guess because of the memories. I remember the arguments over the post in front of the window [you need to watch the show again]. It's an excellent location, I often cycle past it.
The row about the expenses is here: https://www.thejournal.ie/katherine-zappone-travel-expenses-2732813-Apr2016/
For some reason the theme tune to Father Ted starts up in my head when I look at the photos in this advert.

Was on sale for 450k 6 months ago, now 249k.........
I just watched the entire show to see who was the idiot that decided the window and frame. Bannon is simply terrible at his job. He can be right on his choices but he never seems to pay attention to the plans and tries to fix his mistakes by changing things and blaming others. The who talk about if they make this mistake now it will be wrong as opposed to I am the qualified person here planning this for you to your requirements and I missed this. The window should have been two circular windows that you could view from the mezzanine and the living room.
He is just terrible at his job and costs his clients' money while not listening to them.
Wow that is depressing!! Totally overpriced for a damp money-pit. AND its in Kilcormac....
