Yeah but I've not found a single new thread to follow since the changes, this place is fooked
Yeah click the bookmark icon on the top right of a page, it's above the page count. The thread will then appear in bookmarks under your profile.
The functionality is broadly the same once you get the hang of it, "Follow Thread" has been replaced by "Bookmark", and then for browsing, "My Discussions" on the old site has been replaced by "Bookmarks.
The new "My Discussions" is useless and confusing people
It is a bit better on mobile. There is a little cog on the Forum you want to follow and for threads, there is a star. On desktop, there is only the bookmark thing just about the page numbers bit top right.
There is another update coming to help with that.
Click the bookmark icon top right of the page
Can you tell me how I can "follow" a thread? I'm tempted just to delete my account here after being on Boards for 15+ years.
The B-word conversation happened last night with Elon and Jock Dorsey but more importantly Cathie Wood from Ark invest (if you don't follow her you should she is really on the ball)
Few bits came out.
Elon owns loads of Bitcoin, some ETH and Doge. But mainly bitcoin. Tesla and Space X own it too. And they will revisit Tesla once he is convinced the dirty coal is really gone.
Yeah it took me ages to figure out how to track them again. And it is very difficult to determine when a new post is made.
Quiet in here since they messed up the forum. I'm not even sure if I'm still subbed to any of these threads as I haven't received an email notification from boards.ie in weeks.
i'll be excited if we dip to $20k, decent chance of that if we get a bit more FUD from governments, i'll be buying at that price, will empty the bank account
Binance reduced the debit card fee to 0% fee when sepa stopped working.
What's the cheapest place to deposit money now that Binance Sepa transfer, which was free, is no longer available. Do we just have to suck up the 1-2% debit card deposit fee at the top exchanges?
Went in bigger today, another 2m Satoshis acquired.
Jack V Elon tomorrow. Would genuinely love Elon to say they’ve sold.
I'm had two unsuccessful test cryptocurrency launches this year but the next day one if I get to it is the real deal...😀
Some steep declines again today, a buying opportunity for some perhaps.
So BTC fuelled the run in 2013, Alts helped fuel the 2017 run, and DeFi was one of the main kickstarters for the 2020/21 run. Any ideas what's going to kick off the next ATH breaking run? (in oohh, wild guess, 2024)

I think the news about Bitcoin miners in the US signing deals to power their ops with nuclear reactors is very interesting. That sort of thing will take some of the wind out of the CO2 catastrophists sails, but that lot are literally impossible to satify while there is still a living human on the planet.
In some ways, it's comforting the price hasn't dropped further and faster, given the Chinese being their globally corrosive and charming selves. I think the difficulty/energy use dropping and the switch to renewables and nuke and bitcoin basically getting out of China totally will be a good thing ultimately, but it might take a while before the dust settles on the mining front, then I think a return of bullishness will happen. How long this lull will last I don't know, but a year seems like a good a number as any.
Will Bitcoin rise again. I'd invest but I have no money to but still curious if it will rise again. It has been pretty stagnant the last while small ups and downs. What's it now 28-30,000. If you had that much money to buy one full coin and if it some how shot up to 100,000 that would be a nice payday.
My God ‘‘twas an ordeal to find this thread.
Buying the dip as usual, anyone else ?
Strange sense of calm within the bitcoin space, no bullish or bearish vibes in the atmosphere. Overdue some fud or good news.
Hope everyone is doing ok :) Curious to see if we will flip back into bullish narratives in a couple of months time to resume the bull market! I'm hopeful anyway!!!
