What does the future hold for Donald Trump? - threadbans in OP

I've seen two main options put forward on this forum, (1) that he'll remain a political force until the 2024 primaries start up and the Republicans have to take him seriously or (2) that he'll be so mired in litigation that he'll have no time for politics.

There are of course other options for the next 4 years - prison, exile, death or ill-health (he isn't young and he's been under stress), no politics but a business success, emperor. But it'd be an interesting exercise for people to lay their cards on the table now and make their predictions.

Personally I think his political influence will die quickly after the Capitol fiasco but someone else will emerge in 2 years, once the memories have waned, to be the standard-bearer for the QAnon wing.

Yeah the republican handling of education funding etc has a lot to answer for resulting in producing them alright.

Hopefully this and other areas like health, especially mental health services might improve, with the democrats in power as it seems that a lot of trump supporters are in dire need of improvements in them.

You can find plenty of reports of him doing exactly this, no need for the twilight zone.

You are correct.... Trump did nothing solely for the benefit of just his base. He did things that benefited all US Citizens.

College educated voters have been steadily shifting to Democrat over the last 25 years going from 22% of their vote in '96 to 41% in 2019 - So almost doubling.

Whereas the GOP have moved remained pretty static over that time..

I have no idea... maybe forever. Never used the techniques beyond the 70's and don't even have the paperwork or the manuals anymore. But I remember what I learned. Never bought into holding someone against their will and never did that. Also didn't buy into the classification that being a priest or a nun in the Catholic religion was also considered a cult member. And believe what you want, I don't really care. But the Trump hatred crowd falls more in line with a 'cultist' than someone who merely says he loves him.
