The key elements include six high speed charging hubs on motorways capable of charging eight vehicles simultaneously; 16 high speed charging hubs capable of charging four vehicles simultaneously; additional high power chargers at 34 current 50 kW locations; upgrading over 50 22 kW chargers to 50 kW, and replacing up to 264 locations with 528 charge points at the pre-existing pilot grade of 22 kW to next generation high reliability models.

When it turned out the get rich quick scheme wasn't quite so quick then be fenced off the charger and demanded money from the ESB in rent I think he got some cash but seems to block off the charger every so often, probably because his cheque is late He also seems completely bonkers, told someone their car looks like a pedo's car Frankly this is about as good as the entertainment gets around here

E Niro unable to get the most out of it of course , but I’m looking forward to seeing a photo on here from someone able to pull serious power . Good few dropped by to test out the new chargers while I was there .

ELM327 wrote: » Yes but they are limited to 350a and 200a. so the max you can draw is 280kW on the 350kW unit and 160kW on the 200kW unit.
liamog wrote: » That's not what the spec sheet says. They can do 500A at a nominal voltage of 640V. For this you will need to use the 350kW cable.
Irishjg wrote: » The mad guy in Waterford has blocked the charger again. This time there’s a pallet lying across the front of the charger with what looks to be an A4 sheet stuck to it. Presumably with a nice message written on it. I drove past today and noticed it from the main road so apologies I’ve no pics to show you all. Maybe if someone is nearby this evening they can post one up.
ELM327 wrote: » Not on the spec sheet shared on this thread. 350A limit on the CCS2 cable and 200A on the CCS1 cable. The *charger* may very well be capable of that, but in this specific install, the plated limit is shown as 200a / 350ahttps://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=117379261&postcount=4063 I mean, it's pretty easy to confirm, anyone with a new tesla (especially a LR/P model 3) with low SOC should be able to pull 500a if it's available at the charger. That would be ~190kW when the max is 250kW (@670a)
liamog wrote: » Spec sheet for the same charger, has the same plated values, but shows how the current is higher when the charger isn't operating at peak voltage. Here you go https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=117389174&postcount=4088 The relevant bit is the, curve the charger can't do 500A at 920Vnom, but can as it slopes to lower voltages
