i hope none of you are paying extra for shipping, via courier, that ends up being via post? Otherwise you would have some comeback on these costs.
No, when you go to schedule a collection it may say something like "charges may apply" but it's free. I've used them loads of times for selling or returning items.
Do they charge for that? (the UPS website seems almost entirely focused on businesses/sellers of products, rather than on the recipients of those products)
You can schedule a collection on the UPS website.
The unfulfilled delivery date seems to be very common with Gomibo.
I paid for my Gomibo order on 21 December, and it was due to be delivered the following day, the 22 December. I just received it this morning, 29 December - but not before several days of 'Your parcel will be here late today', which kept me in waiting.
I printed out the UPS label, and according to the UPS website, everybody in Dublin and further beyond must drive to Swords to drop the product off at: https://www.ups.com/dropoff?loc=en_IE
What a joke. And that's before getting the refund on the quite substantial amount of money which has been sitting in Gomibo's account in these higher interest days for 8 days now.
I'll ring Mastercard/BofIreland now and see if they will refund me directly.
I made the mistake of ordering from these guys also 3 weeks ago and no sign of order.
I've contacted customer service and they are giving me the run around. Has anybody received a resolution dealing with them.
My order is through paypal but they have just sent me directly to gomibo.

I was pretty much to the point as I had hoped to get it quickly. It eventually arrive after 8 days. 3 days later I started getting spam texts about undelivered parcels and to click on a link. 3 within 5 hours. The link on all 3 was a .nl web address. I have never been to Holland or had an dealings with anyone in the country before. I buy this phone cover which turns out to be from a Dutch company, upon a slow delivery I send a curt email asking what the story was. 3 days after the phone arrived I started getting dodgy texts from different numbers all with different messages to click on a .nl link to pay customs fees. Have a same number for over 20 years and never gotten such a text before never mind with a.nl link. It's clear that someone in this company gave my mobile number to scammers, upon not liking my email. Maybe it's company policy for all I know. Put simply AVOID GOMIBO if your personal details are something important to you!

Ordered a budget android phone with Gomibi 6 weeks ago....Ist phone supposidly got lost in delivery by UPS.After the 10 day "INQUIRY" by UPS proved useless, they offered a refund or replacemet. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went for a replacement. Replacement mysteriously went missing again by UPS... Waiting on refund... not very hopeful.... I think I've been scammed.

I sent it to them last Wednesday didn't hear anything from them so emailed them again yesterday. They emailed me this morning saying I didn't fill out the declaration correctly (I omitted the colour of the items from the item description) and to send it in again. Surely none of that is necessary? They already know everything there is to know about the order.
youcancallmeal wrote: » Did they offer to resend whatever it is you ordered? That's what they're offering me once my 10 day UPS investigation waiting period is over. My item is just a €40 phone case though, might be a different story with a phone

As far as I'm aware gomibo.ie is just a reskin of belsimpel.nl translated to English, I presume the claim of next day delivery is for the Netherlands and needs to be updated on gomibo.ie. Anyway I hadn't ordered from them before but I've read good reviews of people in Ireland ordering from belsimpel so figured it was safe enough. Hopefully I'll get my case this week or else I'll be going down same route as you OP.
