Randomly came across this video today and wasn’t aware it was where a lot of the second captains intro sound bites come from.
Probably one of the funniest 30mins I’ve ever seen. So random that the two lads went on together.

I enjoyed how refreshingly honest all that is..

And it also felt somewhat parochial. Like three lads talking about their local GAA club's fortunes.

Football talk today is not even close to that.

Odd podcast yesterday. Eanna Falvey on, he was very defensive in my mind anyway, shows that if changes to rugby are needed to protect players it realistically needs to originate from outside world rugby.

I know sweet **** all about basketball, but if Lebron's highlight reels on Youtube are anything to go by then Lawrence deserves a serious verbal broadsiding for the disservice he did to Lebron in that pod. The guy literally makes it look like he's playing against kids the way he tears through the opposing teams. He also seems to sink his fair share of 3 pointers too.

Though it hard to argue that Aguerooo isn’t a premier leaugue legend..... the whole Man City project just seems fake and forgettable.... when Pep talks about Man City legacy and legends it just sounds hollow and empty.

Chelsea had also qualified for the Champions League before Abramovich took over. They are one of the few teams never to be relegated from the Premier League. They were never a push over. They had Desailly, Poyet, Zola, Vialli and other fantastic players.

They are also owned by a rich man instead of a rich country. I'm not sure why that's different but it feels different.

That said I cannot stand either club and would give the final on Saturday a miss if there was anything else to do.

Aguero's English is good, he simply has no interest in interviews and plays the dopey foreigner character to get out of doing them.

City have had comparable personalities over the last decade (Zabaleta, Richards, Kompany, Kolarov off the top of my head), whether you choose to buy into them is your own choice.

I think I'm gonna cancel my sub after the euros. I can't get round to all the podcasts I've signed up for and SC is down the list these days. Did they spend 20 minutes the other day chewing over why Winaldum is leaving Liverpool; sure felt like it...

I wonder do they do that thing where you have to ring them up if you want to cancel, and Eoin spends half an hour trying to convince you that they're still worth a fiver a month:p

I'm struggling to care as much about sport so not enjoying watching it as much however I still love listening to the podcast as its mindless escapism for me

Caitlín Thompson on today. Excellent as always, really has a gift for simplifying topics that can appear complex in a sport that a lot of people don't really care about.

However, for me, it was a bit like Torville skating without Dean.
I really can't put my finger on it and I'm sure it's only in my head but I just really like listening to Eoin and Caitlín chatting.
