Well, the day has arrived. You know the one. No, not the dentist but equally as exhilarating: retail therapy. Apparently the stampede on the Serengeti cleared so received green light to spruce up the wardrobe. Pink pyjamas look wasn't proving a hit in Tesco, the wahs don't seem to mind but somebody told me about this vague concept known as "self-respect". Fair enough, pick up a three-piece suit, top hat and monocle and finally ready for that glittering debut on the world stage.

At least, I have good music. Buying that Sonos speaker two years ago really turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

I'm so delighted that you went to the hospital firstly as those symptoms can be serious but didn't want to scare you

What a rotten day's weather. It feels like autumn with a lot of leaves down again. Out driving earlier and there were gushes of wind rocking the car.
May has almost slipped by in this miserable weather. Looking at photos on my phone from last May of lockdown walks into forests and rivers is depressing
