Lease for 5 years at €109 per month with 10,000km allowance per year. 3 years servicing. €29 per month for insurance if you need it. Who'd run an old car with those sort of prices.

There's a couple of little things I'd change (not much more than anything else I've driven) but getting better fuel economy than my old Focus 1.8tdci with roughly similar performance. Will be doing a long run this weekend and will be using lovely cheap LPG. Looking at how things are going odds are I could trade it in in 3 years to cover deposit on a new one. Never thought I'd be that person. :pac:

The car has 280,000kms on it as I used to travel the length and breadth of the country for work purposes and its creaking at this stage. But I just didn't see the point in borrowing €15,000 to get at best, a five year old car (Tucson, Sportage, Kadjar etc) to replace it, when I could be buying someone else's trouble. Never considered a Dacia as I was in a friend's Duster when it first came here and I thought it was a bit cheap and nasty (I'm NOT a car snob...remember I've a ten year old Qashqai with starship Enterprise mileage on it!). But that was an early edition and since then, friends and colleagues have bought newer Dusters, Sanderos and Stepways. So they can't be that bad and would have offered me a cheaper way to get rid of my Qashqai and into something new with a warranty. Maybe next year...............:(

Think they paid €17k for it, I thought that's what they were new. :P Looked it up and depreciation was tiny on all models. I was in a 191 Hyundai i30 recently and the new Sandero is nicer inside and to drive than it was. No harm ringing up for a quote. If they'd give you 3k for your yoke you could probably get away with no cash deposit and ~250 a month for 3 years. Looking at the GFMV there's a good chance in 3 years it'll be possible to trade it in for another new one with no deposit and similar monthly payments.
