I would have bet everything on Zak being a disaster for mcLaren. I thought he would be strong on the advertising side but run the team poorly but hes had the good sense to put the right people in there to get the team back on track.
Not a fan of how they are currently funding -selling off the mcLaren factory.

In comes Zak Brown, and I'll be honest I had my doubts about him, Norris and Sainz, with Seidl on the pit wall, and the team is unrecognisable and is capable of shaking up its livery its that stable with sponsorship.

I'd actually buy merch/clothing if it was a permanent thing but no way in hell I'm shelling out for the price of that stuff if it's going to be outdated 2 weeks after it's revealed!

There was one of them shops in Dublin too. I was only ever in once. Bought two Renault t-shirts in it half price. It was gone soon after that. Wish I had if known of it sooner but most of the prices were way above my budget.

That’s the place. I’d say the T-shirt was the only thing I could afford in there. I’m sure it was still some ridiculous price ie 40 punts. I’d gawk at the Ferrari jackets and stuff. Never really understood how they lasted as long as they did. Never seemed to be anyone in there and, as I said, the prices were something else. There is also still the possibility that the new directive will still mean that rear wings could flex. These teams are clever and know how to exploit that.

RB were doing it last year, this also shows the Merc will play every card they can to get an advantage.

I just hope it doest ruin the rest of the season.

It’s bad I know but I’m really looking forward to Manaco just to see how Mazepin handles the track.

A lot of jokes about how he will do but be fun to see if he survives the week without a mistake.

When he last raced there in 2019 he did decent I suppose but that was F2, and he’s struggling with that Haas.

Yeah I'd rather the extra race to be added for Silverstone, they have the weekends free it looks like. Could probably sell a ****-ton more tickets as well.

Turkey cancelled and replaced by second Austria race. France to move a week forward.
Travel restrictions to turkey made the race impossible.

Cheers, that's what I was wondering about. Wouldn't be surprised if footage with gridlines shows something similar then but Merc will be even further ahead so they won't bother moaning so much.

Awe that's a pity. F1 should be all about welcoming innovations like this not banning them unless it were to give one team a huge advantage.

Article seems a bit vague. How are they banning it exactly? Will there be tests that the teams won't be given the parameters of?

Yeah I'd want to know if there's a safety concern with flexing wings. Or if they allow it this year and ban it next year, then bendy wings become fair game for development and that could be dangerous as teams come up with more and more innovative bendy wings.

The lesser of all evils is probably to clarify the rules, modify the test and give teams a decent time to make the necessary changes.

This is going to Hurt other teams more than Redbull cause there were a few at it

Most stuff I have seen via Reddit has Alpine , Williams and Ferrari to some extent at it as well and they don't have the engine pace of the Redbull anyway.
