Is that it pictured, if so it looks pretty hazy to me :P
Would like to see them do a sour, maybe they've done one in the past?

O'Hara's / Carlow Brewing Company have been busy with their delivery of 330ml cans.

Their "Falling Apple" cider brand is on Craft Central soon with them.

    https://craftcentral.ie/collections/coming-soon/products/falling-apple-apple-crush-medium-sweet-apple-cider-330ml-can

Their Twitter (https://twitter.com/Falling_Apple) was sparingly used up until the start of April.

I'm not normally into cider, but part of me has been thinking of trying some bottles as a change from beer. Getting to the stage where a lot of beers are blending into one hazy-juicy-double-IPA "mirage" of sorts.

Their first DIAP was non-hazy althought they seem to have forgotten that.

A non-hazy, West Coast IPA from Whiplash.

    Who would have thunk it.

Lager fans got their hopes up, but looks like this years theme is going to be clear west coast...

As I remember it, whiplash started before the whole ne/East Coast /hazy/juicy/mountain thing started. Their ipas were what would now be considered West Coast. Or am I dreaming?
I'm talking very early whiplash days.

Had that Brú Off the Hook Pilsner last night. Bland is not the word. That's Brú back to being on my nope list.

Followed it up with 2 Weisenoher Pilsners which, as I've said before are possibly my favourite ever beer. That's how you do it Brú, take note.

You're correct, but it's only two beers: Surrender to the Void and Since I've Been Loving You. The next IPAs were Saturate and Drone Logic, both of which were hazy.

Tesco have the new O'Hara's 4 packs "on sale" at €10. The Kinnegar is also on sale at €3, and the O'Hara's bottles are still at €2.50 (except the tropical). Also they had the same Porterhouse line up as Lidl, at the same price. And the Trouble Brewing is still at the same price €3 for Ambush, Sabotage and Graffiti at €2.50.

Decent line up at decent prices. Tesco (and the family shop) was definitely one of my gateways into better beer!

Hmm let's see... a baby can of O'Hara's for €2.50 or a bottle of O'Hara's on the next shelf for €2.50. Will have to think on that one for a bit...

    I'm partial to your abracadabra
I'm raptured by the joy of it all

Brand new beers v one's you've had before though? Anyway, the bottles haven't always been back to €2.50, so I'd expect them to not be on offer at the same time that often.

I remember being blown away by these offerings and now whiplash is a brewery I avoid!

What, you don't enjoy paying silly money for the same beer with 15 different lables and slightly different hop profiles at 16-20g/l so you can get hop burn from orange juice?

You could put it like that, alright!!

Their stouts and porters tend to be good and those early IPAs were fantastic.
I will try the new West Coast, though.

The guy really can make some exceptional beers - he just went down a style rabbit hole that I really don't like.

What did you think of them? I found the first batch at Christmas to be much nicer, these ones are a bit too sweet IMO..

Whiplash teasing a new release soon, saying it uses wort deaeration in the kettle

    https://twitter.com/whiplashbeer/status/1394272044720828425

The thread might get people's hopes up for non-IPAs out of Ballyfermot.

Whiplash dropping a mango, lime sour tomorrow along with 2 other as yet unannounced beers.

Finally Ballyfermot churning out something worthwhile for the first time since my birth in the 80s :)

The post / Instagram notes its 50 cases worth (c. 1,200 cans? 50 * 24) so I'll be clicking refresh all tomorrow. Would be handy if the 3 new beers from last week are still in stock, to fill out an order.

That is a thread featuring the first of 3 posts, not one of three beers I'd imagine.

The Instagram version says it's going on webshop with two beers - not sure why the Twitter version doesn't have the same wording.

Usually share the Twitter post as it auto-expands on Boards where as Instagram doesn't.
