GW 35 Transfer Thread

GetWithIt

Too early to make transfers until Liverpool / Man U fixtures confirmed, but it’s never too early to plan.

Currently have a bench of Sanchez, Bamford, Dallas and Coufel. Unless there’s a better GW to bench boost I need to improve that.

Bamfired and Dallas out.

Could get DCL and a 4.1 defender. Is Mitchell back in favour and likely to play twice?

Mane sticks out like a sore thumb there tbh.

He's been really poor all season and no sign of a turnaround unfortunately. Maybe Siggy as an alternative??

I wouldn't go near Mane tbh. Greenwood is probably a better option, if he doesn't play tonight. It would free up a lot more cash too.

Greenwood could easily start 2 games, with no returns and that would match Mane's predicted returns of 4 from a DGW.

There was a report by the BBC that Rodriguez injured himself in the warm up before the last game v Villa so Id check what is said about him in the Everton presser before making your decision.

Have considered Digne myself but I think if you're going 2xEverton then the Digne-DCL combo is worth looking at as Digne is DCLs main supply line for good balls into the box. Its all on Dignes attacking returns though, you couldnt depend on that Everton defence for clean sheets

Martinez > Henderson is so not worth a -4. I wouldn't even do it for free. Henderson only has one more game and has a blank in the next game. Martinez doesn't. Also a small chance Henderson is dropped (doubt it but wouldn't be unfathomable)

Looking at Dias and Azpi out.

Maguire and Digne in.

Dias is a rotation risk weirdly these days and CS v Chelsea no guarantee. Azpilicueta annoying me and don't think he'll play the 2 games.

I do think Maguire will start and play all 3 games in the triple. Digne a bit of a punt but largely driven by playing West Ham and Villa away. Then no blank in GW36.

With Maguire playing 90 mins tonight and AWB being taken off at halftime as he was on a yellow card I think AWB might be the Utd defender to get the most minutes in the triple GW.Shaw played poorly before coming off at halftime so I think Telles starts 2 of the league games,he was v good when he came on.

Anyone any thoughts on Richarlson? Everton have a double and then home to Sheffield United and Wolves. But his form isnt great.

At the moment I have DCL, Watkins and Icheanacho so would be for Watkins potentially. Maybe better as a gw36 transfer?

Telles will only start 2 if Shaw is injured. Shaw is miles ahead of him

No chance Telles is playing 2 games out of Villa, Leicester & Liverpool. He was terrible defensively tonight. Shaw wasn't great but he's streets ahead of Telles at the moment. Shaw will get 2 games and Telles will get 1

One transfer for me: Greenwood in for ESR.

Have finally used my bench-boost chip now too as four of my mids have at least two games (Greenwood and Bruno have three), and two of my three strikers have a double-gameweek too, with Son and Kane the anomaly and undroppable. Targett vs. Pool and United is the only issue in this regard.

Hard to know how good Havertz is for FF - scoring 2 against a team in bottom 3 isn't saying a lot. Also with the riches Chelsea have, does Havertz start both games?

Double united defense - means you want Watkins/Nacho/Salah/TAA all to blank Utd game, or at least two of them to blank v Utd, just something to be wary

Several blog posts have him in their tips for the gameweek. And the next three matches for Palace are as easy as they get. But you look at his form and it's pretty poor. Lots of injuries and one goal since GW 21. It's a big gamble.

I cannot see mount playing both? I was thinking of selling him...

Plan at the moment is Marcos Alonso out for Digne. May even bank the last transfer but I might go mount to someone who doesn't blank. But I am also finding it hard to even pick a replacement for mount. I would get rid of Dias from defence but again it's hard to pick. Can't get TAA as already have 3 pool. With no Europe distraction I want to hold Jota for the BGW. I can't sell a player playing that week as I'll be struggling for a team.

It really makes the decision to play Bruno for so long against Roma even more baffling

Is McCarthy not number 1 now? I know Forster played a few games a while back but then McCarthy has been back in since that.

His EO is going to be close to 200% i would say, so if you don't have him and he returns even 10 points, it's going to kill you, because so many will have him captain. Sure he could blank all 3, but do you want to be on the wrong side of potential rank killer this closer to the end?
