Been absolutely ages since I played this, immense craic a couple of years back with the Boards crew. I saw a random guy managed to reduce loading times and Rockstar gave him 10k and using the fix in their next patch, pretty cool.

Made me gave another look and realised i still haven't done the doomsday, casino or perico heists. Also don't own any businesses. I'm gonna give it another go but kinda overwhelmed by the amount of stuff.

Anyone have recommendations on what to do first? I have a few mil, wish i had been logging in every month for the free money now.

A lot of my playtime was logging in and just joking the names of whacky races or just random laughs with the crew so i never managed to make progress like buying businesses or making much money.

The original heists were epic though, some of the best multiplayer I've ever played.

The potential take is all the loot on the island that was scouted, so even more than 4 players can carry.

You don't need to scope anything to get it, even the items and when in the main heist they show up on your mini map when near unlike when doing the scope mission.

For min maxing the hosts take if they give the min 15% to everyone else then it depends on how much gold there is. if there enough gold then 3 players is best, 3 players is better if there's enough gold for 3 players, and 4 is usually worse than solo.

I've seen potential takes of over 5milllion when the primary loot is the pink diamond. You just need to scope the primary and can wing the rest when doing it but there's no harm when scoping the primary to just flick through the cameras on each room and you will know exactly where the most valuable loot is I.e. gold and paintings. No point scoping secondary loot outside the compound really, just check the spawn points during the heist.

A load of the system were built on top of each other especially with vehicles.

It'd used to be just normal cars and then you'd your Pegasus vehicles but then more and more got added on top.

Now you've personal vehicles, Pegasus vehicles, special vehicles, personal aircraft, CEO/MC/SUB vehicles, and then the big ones like the sub/moc/terrobyte.

That leads to you spawning a jet which despawns your car so you've to leg it to it, or you can spawn the buzzard 3 times as a personal aircraft, a ceo aircraft, and a pergasus aircraft.

One of the biggest hopes for any update for this game is they doe a once over to get everything on the same page, especially for the older aircraft as you can't modify those other than changing colour.

I can't believe there isn't a system to manage all your cars to store in different properties.

Yeah, basically only if it goes on sale before i buy either a clubhouse or bunker which is a bit unlikely. Excellent for new players though.

You get a free garage when you sign up on the social club, might not seem like much but if starting literally from scratch not even having a car storage is rough (cheapest 2 car garage is 25k)

Knew someone recently who was thinking of buying shark card to push them over the edge along with the PS plus cash and I offered to run the cayo heist with them and give them the 85% instead. It's not a difficult heist where someone new can really mess up or get in the way. It's even more straight forward than a normal run as you've 2 people so you can get the gold in the compound and then just leave the island.

Unless you're on big money and your time is worth far more than the sharks cards there's no real point. Just ask someone for a run on the cayo heist, 40 minutes and you're ~1.2-1.6m and a €15 shark card is good for 1.25m

The Criminal Enterprise Starter pack might be alright at 9.99, you get 1m in game and then another 9m worth of stuff (or maybe 10m worth of stuff I don't know if they include the cash 1m). But again just ask anyone for a cayo run.

I was reviewing what I have in GTA - the sort answer is not a lot of common sense

Some time ago, I was in a period of deep depression and I was off work for about 18 months. It seems I thought GTA would help and I bought a number of Shark Cards and as a result, I have access to the MOC and that bunker, the Avenger and *that* bunker, a Casino penthouse, the Arcade (without the bells and whistles), the nightclub and most importantly, the Oppressor 2 (but no Terrorbyte to upgrade it).

So if anyone on PC wants to do any of those heists and/or missions, hit me up

Was looking at my Motorcycle club too - I had bought the counterfeit cash operation and never set it up! So that's sorted and active in my Nightclub.

Hopefully we get double money on something decent. Great when it's on bunker runs, vehicle or cargo exports or vip work. Can make handy money

Waiting for the new discounts tomorrow, i saw i had a headshot challenge with my Revolver, did it in about 15 minutes and for 250k for it, not too shabby. I saw then the bounty emails you get, 5 targets. Finish that and you get a hatchet, kill 25 and get another 250k. Handy money since you can npc's count.

Really depends on what was happening.

The cones have a 3d element to them so even if in cover you can still be seen at times, and they can also hear you if running or driving or shooting without a silencer even if behind them.

Also something to note is that if you shoot a guard the bullet keeps going, great for double headshots and bad if that bullet lands near another guard alerting them. So don't shoot someone where a second guard is behind them or along the route of the bullet.

I finished the Island Heist, it was quite frustrating at times. After entering via the drain, I got through the compound without too much fuss. Once I got outside, it was a very different kettle of fish. I kept getting spotted from where I don't know cause I wasn't in anyone's cones and I was behind cover. After 6 or 7 retries, I just left without any other loot cause I was starting to get really cross with the bullshib. But I got enough to buy the Sparrow (+ missiles) for the Submarine, so that's all good. I'll consider going again on Thursday evening - I have a DnD game tomorrow.

Yeah, saw that alright, you have to visit the store for the 1mil for psplus going forward.

The Casino missions need more than 2+ people and can be difficult.

The Nightclub isn't really managing the other business, you just need to the other ones to unlock that resource in the nightclub.

Rockstar exec was saying the next gen online update won't be a simple graphical improvement, and some people looking through the GTA code recently saw references to red dead 2 in there which was newly added.

So might be more than just fixed 4k at 60 or something.

The game gets it's big update every 6 months, at Christmas and during the summer.

Bunkers great alright you buy supplies for 75k and end up selling them for 210k plus a bonus of 50-60k if the lobby is full.

Nope,i have no businesses but heard the bunker is a nice money maker alright. That's what's getting me at the moment, ton of choices. I'll see what Thursday offers, of they have a cheap business I'm interested in, I'll go for it, if not, will stick to heists maybe until a business sale or splash out on something, not sure.

Do you have the bunker? I find that very good and also the vehicle warehouse. I have a couple MC as well but they're just not worth it IMO for what you get back.

The vehicle warehouse for exporting vehicles is very good. There's a glitch where if you store something like 10 low and 10 medium end cars and don't sell them then every vehicle you source after that will be high end and you can make circa 80k per run.loads of youtube videos on that. I'd stick to that the bunker and the heist and you'll make a fortune fairly quick.

Will have to do some research on that before deciding which one. Also might wait until Thursday to see what the discounts are in case some business locations go on sale.

Perfect sounds good zero. I haven't done any either except the Cayo one solo. Must invest in an arcade and stuff for the Casino heist.

Really hoping this gets some new features and dlc in the ps5 version.

Oh man, I'd been meaning to start having a look back at GTA online. Looking at the rockstar club online I last played it three years ago, and last ranked up Feb of 2017, and last played it three years ago. I've got 400k in the bank.

Do ye reckon the best plan would be to just get used to the game again and doing odd jobs for a few weeks while the Amazon Prime/Twitch Prime ticks over and then once I have enough to get an office/become a CEO do that and then get cracking on.

Or becoming a VIP and doing some jobs?

I started Perico again, did all prep in about an hour, no problem whatsoever. Started the heist on hard mode for the necklace for 1 mil. Did the heist in 13 minutes, no lives lost, no hacks failed and swam away from the island (great tip!!).
