When/How Did You Discover Forum Games?

My first contact with Forum Games was in November 2019, when I discovered a thread about One Hit Wonders. I'm not sure how I came across it - was it a random search or a link from another forum. I came to it from a music perspective. I had not seen (or knew) about the nominations thread so I was a bit confused! Having got over that, I started to take part in other songs threads, like the '70s, '80s and the '90s. Sometimes I nominated songs as well as voting. I also took part in a few Christmas related threads, like movies or songs.

I still from time to time take part in the music tournaments, but I discovered the strange but wonderful Sheep/Heeps/Peehs threads! What I like about them is that you submit your answers beforehand and your job is done. None of this watching the threads in case you miss a vote as per the music or movies tournaments. But the banter is brilliant and all those Gif attachments, which I am useless at doing - especially in the Reveal threads!

So, how did you get here?

As for how I came about to be permanently incarcerated here.... I saw a Harry Potter SHEEP reveal pop up in my feed a good while back and thought I love Harry Potter, I would love to give this a go.

My first actual game was a rooms of the house kind of sheep which I won! But it was all a ploy to distract me as someone else locked the cell door behind me and I haven't left since and continue my search for a second shot at glory.

I've had some mixed results in walrus, winning a few and well coming rock bottom too.

I really like this forum as there's a great bunch of lads and the banter came be great. Anything that is a distraction from lock downs and work is a plus

I think my first game was a wordplay sheep last year. Then a Father Ted tournament, and a few more sheep and peehs since.

Bit of fun, especially the reveal threads with accompanying gifs and comments.

Fair play to those who run them.

Oh and the Big Boardser House recently.

Anyway, I discovered the forum just from the home page as it was a best song contest and with lockdown I got into the SHEEP games and even ran a WALRUS and SURLAW. Very friendly corner of boards and given I used to frequent the soccer forum it was a welcome change!

I was a big time lurker of Boards and always saw Werewolf mid game on the recent threads page but finally got to follow a full one in Mario Vs Sonic and I was sold!

Failed miserably at running my own PEEHS, still working on Walrus only on account of not wanting to let Necro and the forum down, I’m just terribly unorganised

Got to mod my most favourite ever werewolf though so not all failures and I’m very happy to read people stayed despite my past transgressions :P

Met some really wonderful people who I care deeply about and would consider my friends and met my boyfriend through it too so even though I’m not as involved as I’d like to be anymore I’ll always have a very special place in my heart for this forum and the people in it

I came to forum because I love Omackeral's flag tournaments. I remember being annoyed at his tournament being moved to "some obscure forum".

Next was the Die Hard werewolf at Christmas. I've been entering a few games since and find myself watching out for them now.

I'm buying condensed milk later.

I'm here since the beginning. Jayop started a thread in after hours about a strange game. It caught my interest so I thought I'd give it a go. I dip in and out of here now. Love the music russes and laws

I miss the beers a lot. They were really great and I met some nice people.
