Built for high-end PC hardware with Ray Tracing capable Nvidia and AMD GPUs and implementing DLSS 2.0 for the ultimate PC experience. .. This upgrade is so extensive, it will require a Ray Tracing capable GPU as the minimum spec, and we will need to deliver this version as a separate product – it is not a simple ‘patch’ to the base game – instead it will be offered as an extra entitlement to all existing Metro Exodus PC players.

It's kind of maddening to see cards like 2060 now sell for 400-500eu and 3060 with way lower RRP, will be stupid price right from a get go. What will scalpers do lol? Will it bump price of all other gpus too? I remember I built my 2500k gtx570 based pc years ago for 1300eu and it was with current gen gpu, cpu, ssd etc. You want now pc with current tech, you looking 2.2k lol

I entered...only to be told I had entered the queue already, on December 30th. I had no recollection of it, so I checked my mails - yep, I did. But I received no notification whatsoever since then, wow. And it's for a supposedly "easier to find" 3090 Yeah prices have gone up massively, although it is true one doesn't really need top-of-the-line hardware to enjoy most games - LTT just did a "very average gaming PC" video, where they put together a system with the most widely used parts from Steam stats, and it's surprisingly competent. Yet, between insane prices, scalpers and miners, it's like there's kind of a concerted effort to kill off PC gaming once and for all - right when it was taking off again. Only - you can't get a console either right now (and I expect somebody to find a way to put the new gen to use in mining, I'm surprised it didn't happen yet!)

And buying something like that for so much just puts a very bad taste in your mouth. They have issues with 30 series cards too, but they have 6800xt for 900eu+. I am lucky enough to get xbox series X last year, thanks to fellow boardsie and argos code. Its scary how there is still massive shortage.
