Bluebird BO6810 Dub-Keflavik left Dublin 75 mins ago and is squawking the 7's just northwest of the outer Hebrides. It has descended to FL10 and has turned SE and heading for Scotland

it's maintaining level flight and 350kts so looks ok. Track suggests heading towards Aberdeen or Edinburgh (likely)

Ya, it's a total thrash site, rag "journalism". Their formula is to take a non story from social media and add sensationalism and unfounded, unresearched claims. Then get an intern who hasn't got the faintest understanding of the subject to put the "story" together.
The worst part of it is that it obviously generates traffic from the public who take it as Gospel.

TF-BBN had the issue and remained on the ground in ABZ until 2000 last night, then positioned ABZ-EMA at FL100. Back in service this morning operating EMA-LGG.

TF-BBK flew EMA-ABZ-KEF-EMA yesterday after the incident.

Not sure if it still happens but there used to be a nightly flight from East Midlands in a similar aircraft, think it did Douglas either before or after Dublin too. That was known as a “bank flight”, basically financial and legal paperwork as far as I understand it (which isn’t a whole lot to be fair).

Maybe after Brexit they don’t send paperwork through the UK anymore? Or maybe it’s totally unrelated.

Saw the occasional virgin 787 descend thru the clouds on approach to dublin earlier, out of curiosity I looked up fr24 to see where else it had been recently. Anyone shed any light on possible reason for it to do a return lhr-eve run, eve being Harstad in the far north of Norway. Surely not big enough for a cargo flight?

Virgin have been flying into Dublin with a 787 for freight ops

A350/B787 are great high value freighters due the low fuel costs

My query is why a 787 flight from london to a small regional airport in northern norway? I'm doubtful that there was a freight load going either direction that needed such a large aircraft
