Interestingly, they've shared a post on Instagram showing the cans in multipacks as opposed to just single units.

Pen Rua wrote: » Both beers under the "Curious Society" name are included in the "Beers" page of their website. https://www.larkins.beer/beer. The branding on their website includes references to "Larkin's" but these seem to have been removed in the final can art.

As a whole in Ireland we've made small inroads into the macro share but they more than take it back through "craft offerings" No point moaning about it, this is how they do - cut production costs, increase marketing spend, spread false narratives etc Well we're also looking at adapting and evolving but in a radically different way: we're not cutting any ingredients costs and there's no made up stories. We want to talk to more of the Irish beer market to get the message or out there that the best beers available in this country are made by independent local breweries ✊✊ We can't treat the macros as holy cows whose acres of shelf space in retail are preordained as belonging to them but, as amazing as they are, we also aren't going to get the message out there with big dipas and barrel aged impy stouts either.. With that in mind we are launching @acurioussociety The first beer in this range is a pilsner is a beautifully designed fridge pack of 8 x 440ml cans that will retail for around €15 It's brewed with premium malts from Irish suppliers, purified water, lager yeast from the Wicklow hops company and noble hops. It's gluten free and the abv is 4.75%. There's no corners cut at all in production process. We'd love your help though.. we're going to be hitting the road selling in the next couple of weeks trying to get onto as many shelves as we can so any support you can give by mentioning it to your local offies would be amazing

BeerNut wrote: » The problem is, in my purely amateur analysis, Johnny Heinodrinker doesn't buy it because it's accessible/bland, he buys it because the brewery spends literal millions convincing him to do so.
BaZmO* wrote: » Agree with this 100% A lot of friends that would’ve scoffed at my craft choices down through the years only really started dipping their toes after the macros started to dip their own toes into the “craft” market and started to promote “choice” to their loyal customers. “C’mon guys, it’s ok to try new beers........as long as it’s one of ours!!”

Pen Rua wrote: » From their Instagram (again), their new session IPA is going to be a fridge pack of 8 cans (330ml) for €12 which is €1.50 a can. It seems like it won’t be under the Curious Society brand but then other posts suggest it will. A little confusing branding / marketing decisions going on here.
