What is Walrus?
Walrus is a game wherein you select music, & other people judge your choices. Standard Walrus usually has 1 host who selects all the categories, & a bunch of people submit songs (1 per category) & the host judges all the songs in each category.
Why Am I Doing This?
Sado-masochistic tendencies.
What Kind of Music Am I Into?Rolf Harris Didgeridoo Instrumentals: The Conceptual Boxset (if you haven't heard it, you haven't lived).
I'm doing something sui generis. First of all, the scoring won't be the usual format, but I'll leave those details for later.
Below you will find 6 categories of movie scenes -none of them are the ending of the film- and you'll be familiar with most. Your job is to find a song suitable for the movie scene.
RULES1. The song doesn't have to be the exact length of the scene.
You may submit a lengthy song for a short scene or vice versa. If there's a particular segment of the song that you are offering as the soundtrack, inform me.
2. The full song will be judged on its own merits too.
So you
could just submit anything, but I'd prefer if you did not send me just anything off the cuff. Top marks will go to those who make an effort and try to match the music to the visual medium.
3. Be original
Duplicate and/or predictable entries will not gain you a win in this Walrus - and don't steal any pre-existing ideas that are out there because I have Google and I know how to use it!

I'm not fussed re: number of entries: I'll be satisfied with eight.
