Signs you are dealing with an anti-rooter

I don't usually visit this forum but did notice the rooter thread and as such I was reminded of a lad up the road who would fit the criteria to be considered as an anti-rooter. Perhaps the farming community has a better name for these fellas, if a mod knows such a name feel free to change title.

*Ag. Science degree
*Shiny tractors and trailers with a plethora of speed limit signs on the rear
*Has a few trucks and vans on the road emblazoned with the logo he had someone design for his farm
*€100k+ per annum "grant haul"
*Fully paid up Fine Gael member
*Wife a well-to-do civil servant
*Kids enrolled in local gaelscoil many years before they're due to attend despite neither parent having much grá for the auld teanga
*Posh stonework entrance to the farm and gate plastered with safety notices and CCTV
*Air to water heatpump installed in the house
*Always attending trade shows and trying to rub shoulders with company owners
*Blames small farmers and "backward Irish" for any problems in the industry
*Rants about how people negatively affected by industry changes and regulation have "nobody to blame but themselves"
*Perma-hardon for anything 'tech', 'robot' or comes from the Netherlands
*Spouts sh1te about 'revolutionising farming in Ireland', takes on a few Woofers in order to have the pleasure of them listening to his bullsh1t
*Eagerly awaiting any new regulations that are arriving from d'EU
*Always on the go with some Teagasc project

I think he mentioned he had someone working on farm when he mentioned that they remarked about the cows ready to calve waiting at the gate.
But then he showed how he can work on his own. Hard to know. Could have casual labour.
He's a fair way with anything electronical. The way he got the radio working again was class.
Great man for the plugs and free stuff!

Definitely anti rooter. Very tidy operator.

This is mildly disappointing for me....always liked the look of pampas grass (only knew it's name because of this thread) ........ intended to put some in at some stage but know for a fact the neighbours wouldn't really be into swinging...........

on the concrete theme.
orders enough to easily do the job and maybe a small side job like hanging a post or similar
not only that but the hole is dug and the post left there beside it so there isnt a mad rush to not waste the concrete
i do work for one farmer like this and is a great pleasure. he always has screeds down around something incase he get the opertunity to use the concrete. simple things like a footpath between sheds so he isnt walking in muck, or a square under each of the dozen taps in the yard

If being a Rooter is seen as a negative (largely). Then being an anti rooter should be seen as a positive then?

Examples would be to me would represent a more “organised” type of lad.....which is not easy be sometimes...

Has taken 2 additional farms complete with their herds of cows. Has a top NZ farm manager employed on one and a Nuffield Scholar running the other. Both on 80k a year.
