I know they tried to separate the Mindstone from him, I also remember Shuri doing something just before the Thanos army infiltrated the base. Was anything ever explained after that scene. Like what was the end result? Did they manage to copy him or anything? Or was it just assumed they couldn’t separate him in time before Thanos got to him and removed it.

But they were attacked before she could finish and Wanda destroyed the mind stone (but killing Vision in the process because it hadn't been separated from him) to stop Thanos getting it. Thanos reversed time using the time stone and then tore the mind stone from Vision's head, killing him again. Then he stayed dead until WandaVision so we don't know how he's back or whats going on.

AlmightyCushion wrote: » It's clear there is something else going on but that part of the show makes up only 5% of the run time. The other 95% is a really poor sitcom/parody.

I'll stick with it because it's Marvel and I know they'll get there eventually. But being a fan does not blind me to the fact that the first two episodes are just not quality entertainment.

IMO we need to see something big in the episode this week, and episode 4 will need to ratchet it up. I don't really want to watch a meaningless tv comedy here - I want the real world impacts to start impacting the tv show piece now, and have Wanda try to keep it together.
Foxtrol wrote: » People you describe that have been put off by the first 2 episodes because it hasn't ratcheted up already just have no patience. There is no payoff if we don't spend some time with the characters in this reality. Sure if it was like the first episode for another 4 you'd have a point but we've already seen things escalate in the second episode. To me it seems people are struggling moving from the relatively tight movie format to a TV show, there were the same complaints about the Mandalorian season 1 not ramping up fast enough. Now looking back it wouldn't have been nearly as impactful season 2 if they'd gone the route these fans were demanding.
AlmightyCushion wrote: » I disagree there. It's not because the episodes started slow but the parts of the episodes not dealing with the weird shít are more or less completely rubbish. There are plenty of shows that start off slow and build to something but the episodes/shows are still good. In the case of Wandavision, the first 2 episodes were mostly rubbish with a small part of the episode showing us something interesting that might lead to something good.

RedRochey wrote: » Think it all depends on how they handle the fact that Vision is actually dead, but I guess that could all change with the introduction multiverse/time travelling now Does that need spoilers? The movie came out 3 years ago but maybe there's people watching now that haven't seen the movies?
Foxtrol wrote: » No, there are clearly two big types of complaints so far. it is exactly what Wandavision was heavily advertised as being before it started. I've gone in eyes open
