Very fash in the 80's though. Popular men's "dress" watches hovered around the 35mm mark and bling was the thing. Gold or two tone, plated or no. Steel had always been the "cheap" option. Though fashions changed this was the case for most of the 20th century. Set against that were the larger and much more widespread digitals with loads of buttons and functions. The tool watches of their day. The young tended to prefer the latter and the former was seen more as older men's watches. Women's models were tiny, under 25mm for the most part, again like most of the 20th century.

Love me a G Shock at the weekends. One of my favourites, a GW-5000, with after-market bull bars. This is the only G Shock I've every owned (there's been a lot over time) that I keep an OEM replacement strap and bezel for in storage.

I'd love the Tatra.

Very advanced car for its day. Quick too. Not so great around corners. To the degree that after the nazis invaded German officers took a great liking to them as staff cars and "liberated" a few. Problem being quick car, engine way out behind the back axls and corners caused the deaths of a few nazis. Much to the delight of the Czechs of course.

Berlin sent out an order forbidding the use of them.

I just spent for too many minutes taking the steel bracelet off my Omega PO and putting on a blue croc strap. First time I have swapped it in about 8 months but it looks refreshed and nice to see. Forgotten how difficult it was getting the pins off when on the bracelet!!

One other thing, I'm considering a Seiko 5, anyone any good links on where to look, with Brexit it seems the UK market not so favourable.

Blue croc strap is the same colour as the face and bezel and looks great. It's definitely the change I needed and feels incredibly light. Although I do like the heaviness of the steel strap

Yeh the camera work is exceptionally poor... but each to their own, I'll leave on for a while then inevitably flip back to the steel.

I really wanted to get the blue one that Omega do with the deployment clasp I just need to find the right place to get it from
