Moved up the schedule and will drop now in Spring 2020 instead of 2021.

My guess it will launch when Disney+ hits Europe in March.

1st 6 episodes rattle through a different decade and parodies the tv style of the decade. Things will continue to ramp up each episode and apparently all hell breaks loose for the last 3.

Episode 1 was definitely just setting up how Wanda is coping. Episode 2, we get more of a glimpse into how it's about to fall apart on her. On their own, they're not super exciting episodes but I've a feeling they're going to be more important in the grand scheme of things and I can't wait to see the rest to see how they play this.

Not sure if it has been mentioned yet, but Geraldine is Monica Rambeau who we've seen as the kid in Captain Marvel

I'm just saying 25 minutes is what they chose to go with. If they felt they needed longer they would've done it and the credits aren't a factor.

I liked that we knew more than the characters. We know this isn't their real world and as it went on,

things started happening that caused glitches in fake life. Like the dinner when they couldn't remember any details about their lives before like when they got married. And then the choking

But like I said, if the episode had been a 40+ minute episode it would've likely outstayed its welcome.

I do think when it finishes you'll hear people recommending it but saying something like "It's good once it gets past episode 3"

I thought it was only okay. I like that it's different but the concept was starting to wear thin with me by the middle of the second episode. I think it's a good idea you can't binge watch the entire series as I imagine that would soon become tiresome.

My point is that 25 minutes to establish a story is very tight and every minute really needs to be used. What did you find so satisfying about episode 1?

Watched episode 1. Have to say I’m not too impressed.

The classic sitcom skit wears thin really quick, it’s something more suited to a one off special, like maybe something Agents of Shield or Carter would do, but WandaVision seems dedicated to this format.

I’d say the back half will mix things up, which probably means we are stuck with this classic sitcom bit for a good chunk of the season.

It also looks like WandaVision will be spending a lot of time moving the pieces into place. I’m okay with a slow burn approach, but with something of this scale, it has to offer more than it looks like we are going to get.

I’d point to Watchmen as something with similar scale that also takes a slow burn approach, but whereas Watchmen managed to keep things interesting during its set up, WandaVision might struggle.

Olsen and Bettany are great, but they don’t have the imposing presence that Jeremy irons has, nor are the characters Vision and Wanda half as interesting as Ozymandias, Lady Trieu, Looking Glass etc. plus it doesn’t look like there’s many storyline threads going on outside these two characters either.

I’ve no doubt that the show will come good and will lead to a decent payoff, but I just fear getting there will be a bit of a chore.

Like season 1 of Mandalorian, I think the weekly release will hurt the experience and could improve with a binge release.

I can't imagine anything we've seen so far was filmed here. Although it is possible some scenes in a future episode were filmed here. Maybe some of the animations were worked on here?

All that is probably true but does it matter? The style, the acting, the mannerisms, the tired "jokes" might all be intentional but it still makes for terrible TV. The 50's/60's comedy show parts are frankly rubbish and if you stripped out all the other stuff it would be terrible show. I'm hoping they start showing us more of what is actually going on soon.

I agree, this would be great for a binge watch. Although it is cool seeing all the little things people online are pointing out that you miss. A binge would make that aspect not as good but still think binge watching would be better overall.

But since 1 episode could be 25 minutes and the next 40 minutes the credits aren't affecting the time needed.

Only watched the first trailer so happy going in pretty blind. Of course sites are putting spoilers for things that haven't been revealed yet in their headlines. I assume they're revealed in trailers or press releases.

Was wondering why Dottie looked familiar. Looked her up and surprised I didn't recognise Anya, aka Emma Caulfield.

But as for the episodes, I liked them. They're the right length as seems people would get fed up if the sitcom part would be dragged out for too long. liked how Vision was questioning what the company does.

Disney plus came out and admitted they planned it weekly to keep monthly subscribers engaged and subscribed for longer. Even if you wait til March to binge watch the whole season Loki is releasing then.

You watch one episode of that or wait until May to binge that.

I personally am hooked, and have no idea of what is to come as I never read the comics. My only irritation is that it's so light that you really need a big season dump like Cobra Kai. It's not like game of thrones where each ep drop was like a mini movie you got ready for. This seems designed to be binged.. And they're not. But still, it justifies my drunken purchase of Disney for the year. Good job.

Episode 2.

That animated sequence at the start was fantastic. Lots of brilliant little details, song was decent too lol. As were the little sections with Vision and the gum

The little off kilter parts are really interesting and escalating nicely.
Even the small ones, like the change in tone of Olsen's voice or the way she looks at vision or off into the distance in an odd way, the part with Dotie, cutting her hand and the radio blaring ...excellent.
The ads are great as well.

I have read quite a lot of marvel comics over the years and the beekeeper thing...is definitely a a clear reference to "something" not sure I should say?....

Olsen and Bettany are excellent but Hahn is still the real standout for me.

I would guess pleasantville is almost as big an influence as bewitched or similar.

Yeah I am hooked.
I can see why they released two episodes, second one definitely stronger.

Only watched episode 1 so far.

Well that was different.....for marvel at least, but I remember watching Bewitched and I Love Lucy...
I have to say I love Kathryn Hahn in everything (she is especially good in Mrs Fletcher), she can definitely do comedy she steals every scene in parks and rec.
Extremely intrigued to see where it goes, pretty audacious to say the least!

I'm liking the weird, mysterious shít that is happening but everything outside of that is rubbish. Unfortunately, the weird shít only makes up about 5% of the run time so it is not great watching. Hopefully, we start getting more of it and the show improves. I'll probably watch the whole thing regardless to see what it is all about but I really hope it starts picking up.

Since Iron Man and the start of Marvel Cinematic Universe the credit scenes have held secrets it's worth watching everything to spot the little intricacies hiding I have many theories on what or where they could be going with this show as the potential for character development is endless given Wanda's connections to the marvel comics universe but I hope Disney keeps things simple rather than running away with plots and introductions l am hoping this show goes in a fun and engaging direction.

I just think it's a strange complaint when you don't have to watch them. I was watching with someone who wanted to skip them so I'm actually looking forward to watching them again and enjoying the music. Each to their own though.

Grand and so will I probably, but that begs the question of if they've used the platform effectively. For something like this I do think Netflix's approach is better, but I get Netflix have the content muscle to do so.
