How easy has it been for this rich tyrannical sociopath to deceive these angry, badly-treated, ARMED poor people into thinking he's on their side. In a way, it kind of makes me see their side of it. They've been treated like shjt by the democratic processes they're trying to fight back against. The media have been complicit in propping up the political system that beats them down. Top it off with the fact that they're not black so they don't get any sympathy for their terrible miserable existence. I kind of get it now. Not saying any of it is right, but I can see their perspective and the whole thing just sucks.

It's like when you're caught robbing a bank but tell the judge now's not the time for justice.
In the span of four days, President Trump’s family business has lost its online store, the buzz from Mr. Trump’s promotional tweets about its luxury resorts and bragging rights as host to one of the world’s most prestigious golf tournaments.

I cannot see it personally happening in the coming administration, I hope I am incorrect! You have to agree, living here that the divide is real. Can you personally say that unity will happen?

However, its worth noting according to the White House, Trump Tuesday will visit the small town of Alamo, Texas, located in the Rio Grande Valley, to tour the border barrier, and not to the Alamo Fort so beloved of Texan and hardline U.S citizens as a definition of U.S nationality. From the Presidents official White House visit itinerary; This is not to be confused with the Alamo Mission, the mission and fortress compound located in San Antonio, Texas. “President Trump is expected to travel to Alamo, Texas, on Tuesday to mark the completion of more than 400 miles of border wall — a promise made, promise kept — and his Administration’s efforts to reform our broken immigration system,” the White House said in an email to the McAllen Monitor. IMO, this latest attempt to divide the U.S as a nation equals the sick attempts used by Trump for electoral gain and should be called to account despite the not so random choice of named towns to be visited by Trump.

In what way should Dems be pushed in interviews? And as for Biden, he has been pretty close to pitch perfect in my view since he won the nomination. The current guy was a reality TV show candidate and he turned the office in to a reality TV show. Completely inappropriate focus on 'ratings' attention and a desire to be praised. What I think America needs is someone like Biden to appoint a strong administration and heads of key bodies and then to speak publicly much less frequently than the last guy did. Not sure what you mean about Pelosi not coming across well. In what way? I think it's incredible that after a summer where we saw demands for subservience from BLM protestors and accusations of them being violent mobs that events which have shown a pattern of escalating conflict from conservatives including threats to kill a governor, invasion of and disruption of state houses, the invasion of the capitol and now rumours of threats around the inauguration and all of this encouraged, actually, requested by the sitting President and supported by many prominent members of congress, that some are calling for a focus on unity. In my view, that will only embolden the wannabe usurpers (that word is appropriate) to collate, learn from last week and re-strategise. Arnold Schwarzanegger spoke about his experience of similar emergence of dark forces from his childhood and while I'm not suggesting that it is anything as sinister or likely to be at that level, it is an extremely relevant topic to consider at this time.
NSAman wrote: » For me, both sides are hypocritical. DEMS for saying peaceful protests all summer. Which as anyone living in the states will know is total BS. Win the election and then claim you are unifying people. All the time inciting people by trying to remove a sitting president (70 million, people voted for the guy). I have little interest in either side to be honest, but the Dems have to realise that impeachment and removal (he is nuts) will incite more violence. Dems have not been pushed in interviews at all, Biden gets a soft ride as he is hidden and protected most of the time. I don’t think the guy is a good candidate at all and I will be surprised if he lasts 4 years. His health is obviously in question..so why choose him? 60 minutes interviewed Nancy the other evening. She didn’t come across well in my humble opinion. I am loath to use left and right. I am in the middle as many of my neighbours are too. Most would be Democrats, they would be of the same opinion of the Democratic Party as myself. They only voted Biden to get trump out. Where I live is totally Republican (it’s a weird little place)I am in business so I hear a lot of worries from business people about democratic policies. I can understand their side too. As someone who never declares a side in politics (mainly because not one of the candidates was Centerist locally) it gets mighty interesting when the subject of politics arises. I have never seen people talk to each other like they “talk” to each other here in the States. This will not be resolved easily. I personally don’t believe Biden has the ability to unify this country. I honestly think both parties have played a massive issue in what has happened. The Press is complicit (again on both sides) but ultimately the American population is not using common sense. I am seriously worried about this country....first time I have not felt safe here.
Tell me how wrote: » Can you give an example of what you mean by common sense on the left going out the window? I'm seeing a whole lot of revisionism and 'let's come together' from conservatives in the last week but as we saw even after the events of last Wednesday, many republicans still voted to object to the counting of the electoral college votes. We have all seen this escalate to this point from Trump's 'Stand back and stand by' his attempt to impact on mail in ballots being counted while making pre-emptive accusations about how those votes would be counted, his refusal to say that he would accept the result if he lost, and then what has gone on since the election which is off the charts in how devoid of logic it has been culminating in last weeks events, which will only get worse when we see future documentaries which will piece together the full sequence of events, actions behind the scenes and the incitement which went on at Trumps Rally on Wednesday morning. At this point, I'm very wary of people using the 'both sides' line, not you specifically as I see it as trying to absolve people from their responsibilities.

NOT!..:) Never seen a country so polarised.. while I personally can understand both sides, I find it incredible that common sense on both sides has gone out the window.
