If you have invested in Bitcoin then you expect, or should expect, a decent amount of volatility. It’s an asset to hold your nerve with.

The only people I see coming out with smug comments now are those who never bought in and try to pass off their regret as some kind of rational decision.

Truth is- you were too scared to take to risk and now too scared to admit it.

Bitcoin might well go very close to 20k in the next week but it will go past 40k in the next month.

Expect this volatility and hold if you see it as an investment but if you plan on day trading Bitcoin then you’re a loon ball

We’d have a maximum of two weeks of volatility and prices no doubt crashing before the difficulty adjustment takes place and things are back to normal.

Not necessarily but those that do factor the high volatility into their decision making process and expect it to go higher as most they believe that it has an end use and also that a move to a more decentralised financial system is inevitable.

Whenever there is a downturn in its value people always try to make the same arguments about it being worthless but it consistently rebounds.

Most people who invest expect these falls but overall most will be on their initial investment.

The reverse smugness in your post is a bit pointless.
