You are kidding yourself ... probably. I'm sure people told themselves that in droves the latter stages of the 2017 bull run, but it's not what they did after the crash happened. The fear caused by that crash knocked the optimism out of most people and they clutched their fiat even more tightly in fear.

Warren Buffet said 'be fearful when others are greedy and be greedy when others are feraful'. It sounds simple and easy but the second part is, very, very hard to do.

I'm not sure I follow? I'm currently getting raped on a monthly basis receiving a payment from N.America with 4% loss. As regards trivial amounts, he hasn't even started yet.

Money costs so much to move because of the greed of the banks, not really because of SWIFT. My original interest in bitcoin was to use it to get around the cost of foreign currency transfers, but it didn't work out as exchange fees were worse than banks. Still, bought some BTC, though,

@Gonzovision : Listened to him on Preston's podcast. It looks like its a killer app. It's supposed to be available via 200 countries since yesterday (confined to the USD at the moment). I've raised a ticket to see if I can start using it immediately (not sure if the country I'm in is supported or not).

I get that ... market rallies have been largely about expectation of treasuries and central banks largesse (and all asset classes are benefiting including stocks and crypto).

That is pretty crazy IMO.
