It's worth noting that the Mayor of DC activated the National Guard yesterday in preparation for trouble today. To do so, he needed Trump's permission as the only Federal Guard.

Trump just has to go after this. So what if there's only another two weeks or so of his term left, he just cannot remain as president for another day.
Can he be impeached or removed quickly? I think a few republicans might grow spines and oppose him after today's events.
