He's a quintessential British man, and that is a huge part of his character. Losers out there who just cannot accept it as a piece of good fiction that would not be the same if it was changed.

And it's just so obvious of a suggestion, why? for the sake of it? Why can't there just be a character or franchise formulated around the actress(es) they're trying to shoehorn in? Like, let them have their own thing. What's the point if an existing character is going to be changed around that much, just make a new one!

007 james bond is a man. why change that. if they want to change things up a bit they should show other agents. 005 can be a woman, 003 a trans, 009 a native american etc. its a 3 no code so there is literly 998 other posible agents out there

That script and direction would still have been a **** film even if they had cast Samuel L Jackson, Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino and Denzel Washington.

For that new Batman TV series they killed off Bruce Wayne and made the character a gay woman. It was so bad even the lead actress packed it in.

Some characters are so gender specific to redefine them destroys the whole character. If that upsets the Woke generation then they should just not watch the movie.

Why. I agree James Bond should be a man and keep him want to bed every woman but why should the color really matter with how good the movie is. Its true some people really want to be offended

Imagine the uproar if there was a film about Martin Luther King or Nelson Madella and they cast a white man just to be more inclusive.

The vast majority of people do not care about the colour of someone's skin, they just care what the person is like.

Most of the common day efforts regarding inclusivity only appear to be highlighting differences and creating further division.

If I was given the task of re-booting Bond yet again, I'd do a period piece set in the cold war and cast a young actor in the role. Give people the escapism they want, set in the most suitable world for it. The latter Craig film's were even omitting the high tech gadgets and returning to simplicity. If Bond belongs in the past, set him in the past....

Otherwise create a new franchise and do what you like.
