Solar PV Performance Thread - Post your monthly output

I think it would be very useful to post Solar PV monthly generation figures. Not only could it highlight a problem further down the road, but there many be many owners who are getting far less than they expected (or promised by an installer) and would welcome feedback from other owners.

Of course, there are so many factors involved. Your location in the country (or abroad for our international boardies), your array size, your array direction and the panels mounting angle.

Best Day 24th - 4.6 kWh
Worst Day 21st & 23rd - 0.6 kWh

Based on revised projections value of 114 kWh I got 69% of that (my predicted values don't take shading into account!)
I changed my predictions as i realised my house is not perfectly aligned to 45 degrees which is the value most installers used!

What is your orientation Denis?

Reason I ask is my old man may consider installing solar. He has a nice south facing orientation but we want the minimum outlay to keep the payback time as short as we can.
I couldn’t recommend my own installer so we will be starting a fresh.

Knowing what size arrays and orientation’s actually generate is the real hard info people need to make an informed decision. The thread is golden for that info ðŸ‘ðŸ»
