Looking forward to the Trump supporters attempting to defend these pardons.

Rumours of an assange pardon being considered

So when these people are all called back in to give evidence against Trump, what actual threat is there to get them to talk now. Is it that the pardon is cancelled and straight back to jail if they are not convincing enough? And how immune to anything new that gets turned up are they?

Pundits have theorised that they won't be able to claim the 5th because the 5th is there to protect you from self incrimination. If you're immune from prosecution, then you can't claim the 5th.

Regarding whether or not they are immune from future prosecutions, pundits differ on that too.

1/ That has nothing to do with the post, and you know it.

2/ Trump was doing more drone strikes than Obama, in less amount of time. So much so that Trump stopped them from reporting on drone strikes.

So, you think Trump should be charged as a war criminal?

Honestly this shouldn't be shock to anyone and not something specific to the Republicans or Trump. Americans always have had this notion that they were the world police,

then can spy on anyone - but other's can't or shouldn't question them
then can assassinate anyone - but other's can't or shouldn't question them
then can get rid of a politician or leader of another country - no questions asked

One thing Trump did was, he kept meddling in his own country rather than others. Which should be commended !

Well it's quite adroit at derailing the conversation about the disgusting pardons. Best to ignore

Trump rescinded the drone reporting rule. Guess who set up the rule which detailed every drone strike during his two presidencies?

lol That seems slightly hypocritical considering it's but but but Trump here anytime anyone says anything about Biden.

    I disagree.

I think his/her attempts are clumsy and luke warm at best.

The title is "Trump v Biden 2020, How many more court cases will there be? (pt 6) Read OP". By that logic the conversation should be restricted only to the court cases and how many there will be. Don't be silly. I will have that coffee though, good idea lol

Take it up with the mods.

Meanwhile, I'm all in with Trump affiliates getting called out for standing by while Trump ran roughshod over the constitution

    Literally.

    That's the standard reply.

I mentioned how Biden was high risk due to his age. Hes nearly 80. I said it was common sense.

    The reply I got?
    But Trump

    They both are.

Is there anything to prevent them just shrugging their shoulders and claiming not to know anything though. You can get answers from someone by offering a better result than if they refuse to cooperate, but if they just stay quiet they are still at no risk (possibly) from any implications. The pardons/ immunity removes any leverage over them. They can just remain quiet if they want.

If there is evidence that they do know and won't talk, they can be charged with perjury.

they would be held in contempt, not charged with perjury. Judges like to lock people up until they purge their contempt.

Sure we all know this. The point is that a statement about Biden is always replied with a "yeah but Trump" post

Like its some sort of competition.

I posted about Obama's bombing campaign. The reply was another yeah but Trump.

Only if you’re willfully ignorant to this being a megathread so all previous titles apply

Hah, you know perfectly well my response was pointing out your complete hypocrisy. You believe Obama should be locked up for war crimes, not something I entirely disagree with, but you'd never say the same about Trump so willingly.

Obama was a disgraceful as every other American president in terms of the sheer destruction he allowed to happen under his lead from the US Armed Forces, but at least he didn't hide the numbers and have his supporters proclaim him as the "Peace President".
