Exactly this. I've never pre ordered a game. I've never had to. Sure, there are often "pre order bonuses" but I can't count the amount of times i've walked into a shop after a game launch (well after it!) and still received the pre order bonus.

Sounds like Cyberpunk is more than just bugs. Meaningless class system, limited dialog options, poor AI etc. Doesn't sound like they delivered what was promised. I have no interest in the game so it makes no difference to me but it's funny seeing the lengths people are going to defend it.

Had to safe mode USB update 2 PS5s tonight, only intended to stick Warzone on both but that update issue is gonna a lot a of pain on xmas day.

If you got one in a box update, the tell tale sign is the update stops at some % and no amount of reboots fix it only the USB update.

One of my initial woes of the PS5 has come to fruition. The white controller. I work/live nights, so I'm usually playing in dark conditions. Today as I was cleaning, I had a good look at the DualSense, and the back of it was fairly dirty. And because of the icons giving the grip, even a wet wipe couldn't clean it, had to use boiling water and a cloth to wet it to clean it.

Bring on the black controllers already!! /smallinsignificantrant

You can get Ultimate and just not download SM Remastered until you want to play it or have deleted something else. They show up as two separate games. Can have one or the other or both.

I downloaded Remastered, played a bit to see what it was like on PS5 (and pop the platinum trophy), then ended up deleting as I wanted to leave space for other games. Will redownload hopefully for a future playthrough.

Just saw Miles Morales is on sale in smyths, 70 for ultimate, Standard for 55.

Interestingly, CEX will give 27 cash for ps5 version and 46 cash for PS4 version. Tempted to get the PS4 version for 60, buy the MM upgrade for 20, clear MM and sell for 46 cash.

Can anyone tell me if you can access the dlc of SM without clearing the game or even straight away? Is it progress or level locked?

Dualsense stopped working in game today. Home button worked and controller worked fine in the ps5 menus, but absolutely nothing in any games even after a restart. Had to use the pinhole reset on the back of the controller. Eventually got going again. Have I a goosed controller?

I have no interest in PS Plus nor do I have time for games as a service. I have limited time to play games due to working 12 hour shifts, I don't want to pay for multiple months of PS Plus to have access to a digital game I won't own. Understand where you're coming from, but for the sake of €60 a year, it's definitely worth it imo, even if you only play 1 or 2 games from it over the year, it pays for itself really. I do understand the physical collection though, would love to be able to do that but I'm one of those who more or less has to play a game on launch if I'm interested, and personally I can't afford to keep every €80 game I purchase, trade in value is just too good (remembering back to the PS1 days where trading in wasn't a thing yet iirc, think I had 200+ games to trade in against the PS2).

Thinking of freeing up some space on PS5. Spiderman Remastered is the one I may get rid of. My question is, if I want to play it again down the line, how will I get it back. It was a digital copy I got when I bought the MM Disc. Thanks in advance

Pretty sure you still need the disc to play the remastered version, as the licence is tied to that, unless Spiderman did something different, but that's usually the case. You can delete it and download it again at any stage, but it will need the disc to verify the licence, otherwise you would have to buy the digital copy separately and then you can delete/download as often as you like.

Once you've added it to your library, which you've already done, you can download it again whenever you want.
