But they haven't beat west ham away in 3 years. I'm biased as a west ham fan but we have done best against the 'bigger' teams this year. We have a settled system team that is working hard for each other and are looking relatively solid defensively. United struggled against west brom a couple of weeks ago who were also very compact.

I would actually be of the opinion that we haven't played well in any of our last 3 games but weve picked up 9 points whether that means we have rode our luck and itll come to an end or that we are due a big performance time will tell I suppose but I am very happy that our first game with fans back in the stadium is against united with a chance to go third in the league albeit only for a few hours. I've always regarded West Ham to be a bit of a tricky fixture for Man U.

I guess memories of the year Blackburn won the league on the final day of the season and again when Carlos Tevez scored for West Ham against Man U in the last game of the season to keep the Irons up.
