Expensive day here but just bought all the women who mind my kids in Creche and afterschool so we can work their gifts. Lovely gift sets in Molton Brown....they all deserve something special this year

I was considering that one but my bedroom is over a sitting room with wood stove and I think I'd be cooking!

It's be glorious for cold nights.

I'm at the age of overheating so I'll probably end up sleeping on top of the duvet :D

SO far today, I've ordered 2 pressies for the wife, the doggo got his pressies ordered and more importantly I ordered myself a personalised tin of quality street with 5 of my favourite choccies.

I was going to get the Quality Street but decided against it at the last minute. I was going to just go with the green and red sweets to be festive. But ... I've spent so so much in the last couple of weeks and really need to reign it in.

Now I'm thinking about it again though :eek:

I bought the quality street tin. I'm so weak!

Dead right. If there’s even been a year to treat yourself this is it.

    Awh sure I couldn't leave him out!:D

Just bought this for my dad...even though I already had his presents!

Bought a nice set of playing cards with illustrations of Galway pubs as a small gift for my dad just now. He's hard to buy for, but I know he'll like that.

Bought a hunting knife for my BIL as well which isn't super Christmassy but should go down well. He's just starting out, so I hope it'll be a nice gift.

I see they'll also personalise your hoops too :pac:

I got some really nice champagne flutes today in The Range. They have a blue hue to them and look like these ones, although they were far cheaper https://www.amazon.co.uk/Champagne-Flutes-Edge-Glass-Set/dp/B07CH8J1XQ/ref=asc_df_B07CH8J1XQ/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309929956514&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12579684413430856224&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=1007870&hvtargid=pla-570524804378&psc=1

I also bought the biscuits for our cheese and some plastic snack plates with little santas on them.

I also bought this - https://www.carraigdonn.com/collections/christmas-tableware/products/winter-wonderland-fruit-bowl It's a fruit bowl, but I'll be using it for veg and potatoes I think. I bought the dinner plates from this collection last year and I also bought the cake stand and the bread basket. Next year I'll get the side plates. It seems ridiculous to my OH but I've always wanted Christmas tableware and I also have really fond memories of when we were children, getting our dinner served to us on a plate in granny's and we couldn't wait to finish eating so that we could see what the picture on our plate was :P so these plates kinda serve two purposes

I'd love to buy a set of these for that extra large step at the corner of the house as you're going upstairs, but I really can't buy any more things https://www.amazon.co.uk/CHRISTOW-Christmas-Parcels-Battery-Powered/dp/B08FRKHVYD/ref=asc_df_B08FRKHVYD/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=468916010316&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7138483400471449155&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=20481&hvtargid=pla-999334865204&psc=1

Finished my Christmas shopping today bar vouchers for my neighbour's girls.

Got a great dressing gown for a friend in Carraig Donn, also the perfect Christmas decoration for another.

Found the perfect present for my bestie too, got great suggestions on the gift ideas forum.

So relieved, I have to be done before the start of December or I stress. Watching Lily & Dash now and chilling.

    Love your bowl !

I am into Christmas tableware too, and actually I prefer having Christmas daily objects (napkins, cups and mugs) instead of Christmas cuddly toys/dolls.
There are a couple of Christmas serving plates that I really treasure.

Last presents bought today, online (domestic, furthest I've gone is the Irish website of a UK firm with stores here).

I got one of Lidl's 12 Days beer boxes at the weekend - obviously it has zero chance of surviving to the actual 12 Days, so I'm having it as a Halfvent calendar - from now to the 12th. By the 12th I'll probably be properly Christmassy without needing the booze :pac:

Ok so the lil lad has asked for a teddy off santa...not a big deal but then I remember I usually get ones with the year embroidered on it....I've gotten them in the disney store and Debenhams before.

So before I go down this rabbit hope, I've decided to be lazy and ask if anyone on here has seen any cute ones on their browsing travels....I'd rather stay away from Amazon :)

Yep Dunnes Stores in the Pavillions. It's a fab bear - the one I saw was white but here it is in brown.

Is it specifically a teddy bear he wants? I ask because my two boys (5 and 2) ADORE squishmallows. The five year old uses them as pillows

    I ordered this for somebody.

No, not at all. I was just asking him what santa was bringing and he said teddy.....there's a million teddies in the house, I used to work close to the disney store and I've zero control.

I have a couple of year dated ones, so I thought I'd continue that trend.

I've had a peek on the disney store website and they don't seem to have any, nor littlewoods.

Just ordered a new fleece for our lurcher so that's his Christmas present sorted.

I'm all about the online shopping this year and I'm buying a box of chocolates from a local chocolate place but delivery is only free over €50....I'll need to justify all the extra chocolate for free delivery :D Or I could just be a normal person and go get them!! Decisions, decisions.

Sounds like me with a recent order from IKEA, click and collect was €5 however free if order was over €100. Had €80 in my basket so spent about €20 to save €5!!!
