There is a fella around here who bought a lighthouse on its own island. He stayed in it one or two nights in the few years hes had it and only uses it for boasting to his friends. Such a waste

I know the man that operates the lighthouse at the Old Head of Kinsale, he lives in the house right next to it with his wife and kids and practices a bit of self sufficiency like myself. It's an awesome part of the world at anytime of the year, the crowd that built the golf course that surrounds it wanted to buy it and were willing to pay many millions for it but no money could buy it.

That studio apartment could be gorgeous if they'd made it bigger and had a bedroom. I wonder would you have noise coming up from the window area?

Absolute greed to cram as much as they could into a lovely building.

ETA: A steamer and some elbow grease would sort the bathroom, but it's ridiculous having a bathroom without a window.

anybody knows if this is in the converted church on South Circular Road in Dublin? Lived close to it once when it was converted to apartments and always was curious how they would design them inside. I like it.

Well, you wouldn't want to believe in spirits and ghosts living in a place like that. Imagine how many funerals took place there. And what would your staunch Catholic granny say if you brought somebody back to the place and tried to perform an immaculate conception outside of wedlock. Shocking I tell you.
