Every time on turn on the TV or Radio its all the vaccine ...vaccine... vaccine... the answer to all our problems.

Its like all life's enjoyments are withheld until we take the vaccine.

Already Ticket master are planning to introduce vaccine passes to go to concerts be sure other companies and industries will quickly follow their example ....

That is not true. The immunogenicity (the coverage) in the trials is roughly 92% are 2 doses. This is normal. No vaccine will ever offer 100% immunity. However, if we can get 85% of people to be covered with the vaccine, there will be herd immunity that will cover all people. Hence, there is good reason as a society that we get 85% of the population vaccinated. This will protect both the unvaccinated and the people who don’t mount a full immune response to the vaccine. If everybody got vaccinated, we could eradicate Corona. It could be another success story like polio and small-pox. How many poor kids spent years in those metal lungs? And now polio is virtually unheard of!

Some of us have been asking since this started and I'd say the most "coherent" answer we got is that the government is actually part of a tyrannical global group backed by the devil (literally the devil) that wants to track and control everyone for unknown reasons.

Yes, a mask doesn't stop the virus fully, it mitigates it. You can still pick it up from touching items in the supermarket, talking to a friend, from your kid who picked it up in school, that time you went to the restaurant, when you went to the gym, when you met with 4 friends in a bar, etc, etc there are hundreds of ways to pick up the virus.

Masks, distancing and lockdown aren't there to "stop" the virus fully, they are there to curb it to stop it from overwhelming our health systems. Once it's relatively "under control" again, then measures are gradually lifted. Again, none of this is perfect, and in our eagerness to lift lockdown measures before, many countries experienced another large wave.
