Yeah exactly. I think Cons. is one of those where you could argue almost anything if you can back it up at all.

Yeah tough paper. I sat the March one too but thought this one was a bit better - was much more prepared for it mind.

Constitutional my last fe1 to pass and it went tits up, thought it was brutal hard, there was basically two case note questions I thought, had to answer the Real case Note even though I had not planned on it. Only consolation is that everyone found it tough.

Same I did the case note too even though I have never written one before, no idea if I did it right, lets hope he doesn't expect a strong structure or anything like that

I thought the same , so unfair there were essentially 3 case notes - the case that was presented with Mohan wasn’t even in the manual . Also the sop questions looked like traps bc they looked so similar you’d be doubting yourself . Not one straightforward question , so much harder looking than past papers . Heard it was a new examiner , so hopefully the marking is nice

It depends on how strong your other answers are. Definitely not impossible.

Got very lucky with constitutional this morning. Looked at McGee and Roche v Roche this morning. Read Kerins and DOB last night for first time. Expected to fail before 10am but everything I covered came up. European is bound to get me now.

Looked like FOE with a big focus on journalistic privilege. The Corcoran case from this year seemed especially relevant. Steered clear of it myself.

The fishing question was my last one i answered it on article 10 natural resources and barlow case (although i said barlow v minister for environment when its actually barlow v minister for agriculture ugh) and then also mentioned right to earn a livelihood and proportionality? not sure if that was right though and also hate myself for getting the case name half wrong!!

I made an absolute bollox of that paper, so it's reassuring to hear that it wasn't just me

Does anyone know what the second Q was about... I just answered on journalists sources, I feel like I was missing out on something else obvious though?

I noticed the layout not the traditional and there were 2 different questions on fmog ... May be a sign of change or might just be that (singular) exam

That paper absolutely destroyed me, was meant to be my last exam... good chance I'll be seeing it again in March now

I even prepared a locus standi essay but I didn't have that P case in my LS notes, I had detailed notes on P just for remedies, I didn't have anything re his LS... still had to answer that Q and just ignore the P part of it.
I also had done Roche v Roche but it was only like 2 sentences in my manual so couldn't manage the case note Q

It mentioned criminal sanctions in delegated legislation so I presumed it was prompting principles and policies....oh christ knows

I was so thrown by Q8, ended up doing it in bullet points and I just did one point on refusal of medical treatment, one on Article 40 procedure and one on fair procedures but the only FP case I could remember was the 2020 Damache case which wasn't exactly relevant (didn't let that stop me though lol)

My answer had absolutely no structure to it at all haha

I was the exact same! Just answered the essay based on Mohan cos I didn't know the P case so completely ignored it. And I literally wrote a few lines off Roche cos I had no choice but to do it cos the other questions I didn't know at all. I found it such a hard paper. But it seems like a lot of others did too so hopefully he'll take it into consideration.
