The Irish government doesn't state that everyone born on this island is Irish by default because of geography, but that doesn't stop you proclaiming it all day long today.

If Mark and I call these islands the British Isles, that is twice as many people who call it that than those who say everyone born on this island is Irish be geographical default.

Open an atlas and you will see the term too.

It certainly comes across from her media work, where you rarely hear her get into detail on any policy issue, preferring to use stock phrases to criticise. She would be a disaster in any Ministerial position.

She does not like responsibility, so by leaving early she does not have to take a line or make a decision, especially offering to support the government's decision. preferring instead an excuse.

She is an accomplished media performer, that is true, but so is PJ Gallagher, and I wouldn't put him in charge of a kindergarten. He'd do a better job than Mary-Lou.

The idea of the meeting was to fine tune details in light of the ongoing pandemic. As leader of the opposition, one would think that her input is as vital as that of NPHET.
