But the way the 'liberal' and 'centrist' dems are crapping on Bernie supporters online it's pretty mean. The dems are offering the Left basically nothing, other than our guy isn't Trump. It might work this election since USA got a good look at who Trump really is. But once this election is over and Trump is turfed out, then all bets are off. The Dems are living on borrowed votes, votes they didn't earn via policies. That's not a sustainable base.

We study the impact of president Trump’s Twitter messages on the stock market. We investigate 100 of his tweets that include the name of a publicly listed company over the first two years of his presidency. We also carry out an analysis of the sentiment of the tweets by using textual analysis. Our results show that president Trump’s tweets about companies have a negative impact on stock market returns when they are revealing strong negative sentiment. The firms themselves usually are not in a position to respond

A winner takes all election system does not reward small parties and inevitably leads to 2 large parties. I'd wager that one of the few things you could get the Republicans and Democrats to agree on these days is that they like the voting system just fine the way it is.

One is the campaign, the second is his treasury secretary, Steve Mnuchin [who seems to have been given a freer hand by the president] and Nancy Pelosi, and the third Mitch McConnell who seems determined NOT to let Nancy and Steve [and by extension Trump] make a deal which can be given the nod by Trump, even if it's after the election. That to me is indicative-confirmation of the split between Trump and McConnell & the GOP. The campaign looks to be in free flow, if not fall. Today Trump is in Pennsylvania maskless. He's annoyed at the USSC decision to allow that state have 3 extra days to count the ballots after close of polls on the 3rd Nov, said decision also ruled that the writing on the envelopes containing the ballots need not be legible. His wife was supposed to be with him in Pennsylvania but pulled out due to a cough. I listened to a recording of Trump speaking today in Pennsylvania and his voice sounded rough, if not hoarse. He walked out of a CBS interview deal which included a joint follow-up with him, Mike Pence and the network scuppering that as well.
