She said if you don't have use of the equipment/software listed you will not be able to sit the exam. I asked her if you download it on one computer for the mock could you download it on another for teh actaul exam, she said she was not a technician and did not know the answer to that.

I feel sorry for the people who are on the end of these calls as they're not the decision makers I got the impression that they still haven't decided on various things- the bathroom breaks, bringing a drink into the room, what happens if the technology fails during the exam and will the number to call be answered. She didn't give me an exact answer on us being allowed to use paper for answer plans or if we can print out the questions which was the biggest concern before all the new questions about the software and potential cheating accusations. As I said before though, the lack of planning and coordination on their part is really unprofessional. Other professional exams went online but they were given ample notice. The accounting exams were typed I believe but you have to remember, not all of their exams are theory and involve 3 solid hours of typing essays and problem questions. I'm also wondering if they'll be changing the dates seeing as other people were told there might be an option to sit physical exams? So many unanswered questions. They really need to stop messing us around.

This will be one hundred per cent the case this time around also. Is it an automatic fail if the software detects something suspicious? Can we not dispute this? Also what about rough work and legislation, if our eyes are off the screen and looking down.. ? From what I can see online with this software .. if they detect anything suspicious like the above re. eye movement you fail automatically. This is madness in my opinion for these exams and is seriously stressing me out.

Anyone else having a similar issue? I requested a new link under the 'forgotten password' option but that never arrived. Doesn't give me much hope for the system.
