All Covid-19 measures are permanent, don't be a boiling frog!

All social/population control measures introduced by the state security apparatus as a result of this health scare will be, and have always intended to be, permanent in my view. Here are a few reasons why:
a) Because they already have shown that they are stringing people along. The publicans, for example, have been assured every couple of weeks for the whole summer that they will be allowed to reopen, but the government had no intention of allowing this. First it was to stop the spread of the disease altogether, then it was 'flattening the curve' and now it is in response to an increase in cases which they know perfectly well had to follow an increase in testing. You don't want to be the donkey chasing the carrot here!

b) Because they have invested so much money and time in changing the whole apparatus of society, in schools for example, and other places. Clearly these changes were not implemented in order to disappear in only a few weeks, they show the planning and expense of permanent measures.

c) Because the state has a record of never releasing back to the population rights that they seized during some panic. A few examples:
i) During the hype about TB in the 1950s the state introduced a voluntary scheme to control the disease in cattle. It involved those who had tested negative for the disease to be given a special tag and the farmer a 'herd number'. This voluntary scheme then evolved into the state controlling all aspects of agricultural activity by only allowing any such activity - even keeping a few hens - with the permission of the state, via compulsory herd numbers.
ii) Similar to this current panic, in the 1970s the state amended earlier WWII legislation to enable it to abolish jury trials. This was a great shock to the legal profession - even to the then President - and affront to the time honoured legal practices in Ireland but it was rushed through on the basis of sunset clauses whereby it would have to be renewed every year, and hence was temporary. Of course it is still with us long after the troubles have ended.
iii) After 9/11 and some hyped episodes like 'underwear bombers', this state and all around the world introduced time consuming and very intrusive security procedures particularly at airports. This of course is still with us long after the scare has died down.

d) This last point I am sure some of you will not get, but I will make it anyway. These measures are being rolled out precisely because they have huge social and population control advantages for the state, hence they are only piggy backing on the virus to do what they have all along planned to do, and hence have no intention of ever releasing you in the future from their newly introduced grip.

So look if you want to get your life back you should join the demonstrations next Saturday at 2.00pm at the Customs House and the Dáil in Dublin. You will not get released from this vice otherwise, they will compel you to harm your own health via vaccines and masks (of course it harms your health by restricting your breathing, and harming your health does not help somebody else), and otherwise we will descend further into this nightmare of Communist style spying on neighbours and bullying people in the name of social conformity.

But that's not true though.
It also assumes that we did and do know everything about the virus, which we were being told a few pages ago, we didn't and couldn't possibly know.

It also doesn't make sense. Cause if there is a global conspiracy and all the scientists are in on it (which they have to be, since they are recommending these measures), why don't they inflate the figures to justify the measures?

Thanks for your personal opinions, but I know the facts/details. Most countries around the world are taking the same precautions.

Therefore you are going to need a new theory as to why they are doing what they doing.

It's your personal opinion that the world is "overreacting" to this virus, so you have invented a subjective made-up theory to validate it to yourself.

A nebulous theory and prediction that the country is going to become some sort of totalitarian dictatorship, light on details, which I've heard hundreds of times before over the past 2 decades..

Care to provide details and specifics of how this is going to go down? or are we just supposed to unquestioningly swallow every random internet prediction in this thread?

And in fairness this is trump stating he has covid, would it be any great surprise if he didn't actually have it the man wouldn't know the truth if it whacked him across the head, now I'm sure he does have it but I wouldn't put anything past him.

The vast majority of viruses like this have no second wave at all, they just run on a cycle where there are affective for a while until people build up immunity and then they disappear, and this is what seems to be happening with this virus now if you look at death statistics from it for example.

But the powers that be needed to talk this way to keep going their social conditioning going and media hype prepared you for what actually never happened!

To improve the state of the world^, the World Economic Forum is starting The Great Reset initiative.

Yes more fairly vague aspirations from the WEF & DAVOS: widespread global changes to be introduced across various domains, but even with any pandemic the 4th Industrial Reveloution, climate, jobs, economies, emissions, infrastructure, energy, migration, IDs, populations and all other issues would have needed addressed, pre-2030.

This target date is important as these 'Sustainable Development Goals' pre-dates covid, even the pandemic simulation.

This is simple an oportunity to re-shape the (global) social-economic models, an opportunity out of a crisis. The current pandemic is simply an accelerant to previous 2030 goals.

Of course the changes after this Great Reset, can be both good and bad, it's not all going to be one or the other. The end results of which no one will fully know, until the desired (by global stakeholders) 'Reset', is fully complete to alter the ^state of the world, changes likely also in some 'permanent' sense.

Now, TBF, the WEF/DAVOS folks themselves are somewhat vague themselves, with their own calls for a 'new socio-economic global system' due mainly to the (now) begining 4th Industrial Reveloution (covid is a secondary or relative complimentary factor).

However much of their 'systematic' (Great Global Reset) themes, would appear to point towards a new multi-use global digitial blockchain based ID type system, this has implications of course across: travel / consumer and business spending / environment / state services / asset management and even wholescale social and economic (socio-economic) based structures.

I can't make the answer any clearer than this, and suspect you are now posting in very bad faith, or simply challenged.

Also, the 'introduction' will be more of 'push', that commonfolk, unaware of such technologies (yourself) actually do not understand.

Azure Blockchain has already been proven as useful by WEF partners at id2020.org.
As far as it's use, it could in theory be deployed for a huge variety of uses and sub-systems.

The most immediate of which (2021 onwards) will be a new travel ID (CommonPass Framework), a common global currency (a successor to Bitcoin) could also emmerge (but regulated via the IBOS etc).
