The more in each match, the lower the quota you need, thats the logic Im following. If it was head to head, 4 votes would be too low.

Tbf I have to get through over 300 entries, the seeded nominations is where the real quality is, I promise

Agreed. People are just rushing to cast a vote and not giving them all a chance. Kind of kills the spirit of the game. I would be more inclined to let every match run for 10 minutes and call it in favour of most votes within that time. I know these are technically the heats though and it would take longer.

That said, it’s a testament to how popular your game is Kolido!

I appreciate the concerns from Spooks and Mack regarding the voting format and I apologize if it has ruined the experience for anyone. I will certainly take this on board for the following rounds and indeed, future games. I'll admit, I probably got it wrong, I didn't think there would be so many voters and with 7/8 theme to choose in each match, I thought the games would run longer.

I don't think it would be fair to change this qualifying round now as we are over half ways through it. It is a shame we will loose 160 themes in this round but with the sheer number of noms, I had to find a way to whittle them down quickly
