The fact that people think Trump has a chance of re election shows me 2 things.

Besides this being incredibly ridiculous, AOC is not eligible to be VP for another 4 or 5 years. Also AOC is far from being the far left...

I'm personally hoping AOC doesn't run until she's in her 50's. That way, she'll hopefully have another 20 years of being influential before her attempt.

It would be a shame to essentially lose someone from being involved in their prime years just because they happened to be President when they were younger.

Yes. I think anyone who looks at Trumps performance, and thinks that more of the same is what is needed is an idiot. It's an opinion based on the evidence which he has provided. There's no 'he will' or 'he might' like there was 4 years ago, there is 'he did' and 'he has' and he is entitled to be judged on his own words and actions.

In the same way I think anti-vaxxers and flat earthers are idiots.

I am well aware that on a campaign trial things run on or don't start on time...but I am referring to the very simple task of making sure your guy is ready to go on when he is introduced...then when he eventually does make an entrance, he starts by playing a song on his phone...

I view those people as idiots because the arguments which they have presented on this and several other threads over the last 4 years are largely idiotic. I am very interested in political conversation in the real world as well as on anonymous forums and wouldn't designate someone as being an idiot just for having a preference of someone, but, the logic around that is sometimes (and more frequently than not on Boards) enough for me to form such an opinion.
Saw someone post here recently that Trump has build the wall, drained the swamp and made America Great Again. That is an idiotic view in 3 ways.

Really? Has he pulled the US out of the only meaningful global climate agreement? Has he undone the work in managing Irans desire for Nuclear power? Has he mismanaged the Pandemic through downplaying it, undermining the medical message and distracting from the need for vigilance?
Has he tear gassed US protestors for a photo OP? Has he lied publicly 20,000 times? Has he undermined the US military? Has he rolled back on environmental protection legislation? Has he pardoned people who threatened to flip on his interactions with Russia? Has he been impeached?

To say that Biden is just as bad is an idiotic statement based on the evidence available.
