being a fan of passtations watching the broadcast from consoles, I realized that this time Xbox would be wiser to take - especially in the beginning
not one interesting exclusive at the beginning will not appear I did not like it

Yeah, I'd imagine it's just a placeholder date for the PS5 version for the moment. I don't think the PS5 version was mentioned on the trailer they had during the week.

Just hoping for some news in the next week, have holidays put aside to take when this releases and just want to know now whether IIl can get one on launch.

would you think accessories would have to be pre ordered also. Def getting the camera and will see about how much the head set is.

Yea I think that was an issue with the Blu-ray optical drive back then, but they were so arrogant they thought that delay and the price would be no issue.

I have seen a lot of casual claims in the last few months that Sony are going back to their arrogant selves. I don't think these people realise just how bad Sony were back then.

No, they were just a week or two apart. Both November 2013. Xbox launched first, then PS4, so likely to be the same here.

Definitely can't see them releasing on the same day. Weren't the xbox one and ps4 releases months apart? So this situation is pretty unusual.

That’s the general release date for the game, no guarantee the console will be out before that.

I could be wrong, but I think there could be precedent for a game launching before a console simply because it was cross-platform anyway?

Getting out before black friday at any price will be their main goal. missing that date in the states will give microsoft an early lead (if a minor one in the grand scheme of things).

They need to release before Black Friday in the US and need to hit Europe in November as well. They won't want to release late December in Japan either as they will miss a gift giving holiday there. They will need to release in and around November.

I am fairly certain they have said it will be a global launch, but then you could interpret that in a number of ways if you wanted to. Hopefully we don't have to wait 2 weeks more like last time.

I think Sony really only has the choice of announcing pricing and release date today/tomorrow, or waiting until Thursday next week. Apple will take over tech news for a few days with their event on Tuesday, and Sony will probably want at least a couple days to themselves without the shadow of another event.

Yea I agree, but I have given up trying to predict what they may or may not do. They are off the map at this point.

I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if they held off till the start of November and pulled a Saturn with an instant launch.

Sony's got new PS4 and PS4 pro Fifa 21 bundles out on October 9th.

Probably got stock to clear but still weird having new bundles, especially for the pro.
