I was looking at the Body Shop advent calendars last year. The one on the UK website for £99 cost €180 in the body shops over here. :eek:

I have had one before, and really loved all my bits and pieces, but major discrepancies with the Irish and UK prices!!

The Lynx africa one brings me back, we would always have a match on St. Stephens day and it would be the only game of the whole year where people were not begging for shower gel or deodorant after the showers. The fog of lynx and Nivea.

OMG, that brings me right back. We were the same, we always had fixtures on St. Stephens day & everyone would be rocking their new toiletries received the day before, usually Lynx or insignia (anyone else remember that stuff) though in my day, less of the Nivea back then.

My mum still gets me a toiletries set every year. Last years one had a fantastic new shower bag with it too, which was perfect timing as my old one needed an upgrade badly!

I always used TK, one year, I was about 13 and my mother in law bought me a slazenger. She came to the game so I used it, sadly it only lasted about 10 minutes.

Started out with Grays, moved onto Adidas (we had a sponsorship deal at the club) but ended up settling on Kookaburra, the last few cost me about £200 odd quid each. The new Osaka ones are super though, shame they weren't around when I was playing.

^^ I got one of those a few years ago, its a bugger to get the melted candle out of the bottom and they end up staking up.
