If tort was on in March and someone failed they can re sit it in October with any other potential fails. But if they cant and October is their 3rd sitting, doing tort the following march would make it their 4th sitting and their contract is gone. It is only fair to allow people to re sit the exam if failed in October as they would have been able to do if the exam was in March.
