WOW ok. I joined this thread because I found it very useful. This is not what we need in these stressful times. I hope we can all agree to leave the hostility here and from now on be helpful to each-other. Everyone is in a different position and if people cant respect that they shouldn't comment at all.

Some people are coming across very sensitive here.

Signing a petition over the fact that you may or may not fail, and might have to wait a few months for a resit in March is stupid. Good luck with 80 signatures on a ridiculous suggestion of delaying things further... I mean that's just great logic let's screw over everyone who's starting the hybrid and have the exams in the middle of flu season in November where the virus could potentially be worse. That's just the way the cookie crumbles, we're in a global pandemic and this sitting in August was not intended for people who did not have Tort and EU as their last exams. Some people have displayed such childish, I want, I want mentality. Sorry. If you failed, just suck it up you can submit a recheck or sit it again in March it's not worth postponing things until November over that

"Should" being the operative word. I took what the law society said at face value believing it to be true, I had no intention to mislead and give mis information.

You might do well to remember that we could all potentially be colleagues in the future and this level of hostility is absolutely disgraceful.

Ah here, this platform is for sharing information. The mens rea here was not malicious (to utilise my study notes). No-one can say 100% that the information they receive is going to happen, especially not when it is during a pandemic and coming from the LS. Channel your anger elsewhere, no need to go hunger games on this. Chill out

Excuse me !!! I received the email telling me they would be released hopefully in the 3rd week of September. I directly quoted what was said. I was merely passing on information in a bid to clarify the situation. Personal attacks are not warranted.

This actually would be a great solution. Hopefully they will consider it.

I agree
The fact that they opened up the August sitting to everyone has only added to this disaster as it resulted in much more papers to correct. Not to mention unnecessarily having more people to accommodate with social distancing :rolleyes:
