Has anyone heard any details on availability? I get the regular update emails from Ford but they are just promo photos and videos, no new info. I messaged them and they just said they don't have a date yet. Very envious of UK drivers at the moment!

Found this on the Ford Ireland website. You can now build and price a car too.
They look nice but the price is a tad mental or maybe thats just me.
Exactly what I thought
Are their brochure prices right?
They seem to have applied the SEAI grant to all car prices, including those above the €60k threshold for the SEAI grant
€52k for the base model? That's rather a lot. Roughly the same as I'd expect a base Tesla Model Y will cost, which is faster, has more range, can charge faster, has proper autopilot.
Wow, they're just not at the price point, ain't gonna shift many of these (maybe that's their intention)
And a whopping 2 year warranty. Oh well, that’s just crossed itself off my list.
Yes I think they’ve made a mistake and taken 5k off the prices which makes the car even worse value than I thought at first glance.
I think they have completely misjudged the market on this with where they’ve priced the car.
they will be a rare sight on Irish roads.
Just checked the pdf. I'll have some of what they're smoking!
The first of these to arrive are here it appears and prices seem very high albeit well equipped. I appreciate all cars are getting more expensive but I cannot see too many on the road at these numbers.
We are looking at the mach-e and have been quoted these prices:
RWD-LONG RANGE- €68,995
RWD-SHORT RANGE- €53,495 (Net of 5k SEAI)
AWD- LONG RANGE - €76,495
AWD- SHORT RANGE - €65,495
Going to test drive one on Thursday as we are looking at the RWD short range which doesn't seem tooooo bad. Do like the exterior and interior design.
€15k more than the short range RWD Ioniq 5. That's insane.
This prices are off the boil for a Ford....
I don't knowbif it's a fair direct comparison though
Short range i5 is 58kw, short range Mach-E is 75kw.
Not sure on tech comparison but assume you may need to go up a level or 2 on i5.
We were quoted 51,300 for a premium 73kw Ioniq 5.
