The key elements include six high speed charging hubs on motorways capable of charging eight vehicles simultaneously; 16 high speed charging hubs capable of charging four vehicles simultaneously; additional high power chargers at 34 current 50 kW locations; upgrading over 50 22 kW chargers to 50 kW, and replacing up to 264 locations with 528 charge points at the pre-existing pilot grade of 22 kW to next generation high reliability models.

I'm OK..........I didn't get electrocuted, thank God........still, the grid fuse feeding upwards of 250kWs............must have been some trip . Lesson learned - don't try to run a Russell Hobbs kettle directly off a CCS plug, it's not worth it..

I realise that I'd be doing more good cycling or taking the bus but with young kids I needed something that's weatherproof and reliable, so I did what I could in those requirements. If we're talking VAT I'd prefer if they went after VAT on solar panels and inverters, if they dropped those down to the builders VAT rate then suddenly they'd be a lot more affordable

Say 500 watts for a small battery PHEV, or 3kW for a Leaf etc.......I may or may not be serious........I'm not sure........turning it down "to a trickle" is a contentious philosophy at the moment..... .
