If you go down as far as the comparison with similar items there is a capacity listing,, but rather unhelpfully it's in kg where the rest are in litres! Though the kg of food you can cook is probably more relevant in real life.

I bought it for 70 also about 3 years ago but I’ve been watching the prices for the last year or so as a family member is after one and it’s not even been as low as the 99 pounds it is noW for a long time. It’s been up around the 130 pound mark almost all the time.

You could be a very long time waiting got it to hit 70 pounds again I feel.

As an aside does anyone have a good source for replacemnt parts at a reasonable cost? The mechanism that holds the basket to the base doesn't work anymore on mine so I have to lift the whole base in and out if I just hold the handle the base will just fall off. Its from a lot of use and not very regular cleaning....

The baskets are nearly the price of an airfryer on amazon last time I checked.

i bought this 5 years ago (checked amazon) and to this day its still going strong and i use it almost every single day, most days twice a day. back then i paid 71 pounds for it. they seem to be gone up in popularity hence the price, but when this one is on its last legs ill be defiantly purchasing another one, although this time i would buy the bigger one

There was a deal on Bargain alerts years ago for the standard one and purchased it then. Used every day. Even makes unreal toasties.

Anyway was looking today to replace it as its handle and base are a bit worse for wear. It seems like the XXL is reduced in price at the moment

Yep, assemble them uncooked place the whole lot in, turn on to 200 and check until the bread is toasted. Cheese perfectly melted on the inside then.

I cooked a steak in it one day, came out very juicy, only thing i could imagine is it seared it all at once.

Yep, did a ribeye recently - simply cos I couldn't keep an eye on a pan at the time. Came out remarkably fine, no turning required!

If you take the basket out you can fit bigger in the regular one. I think I crammed a 1.9kg in it before which was pushing it. 1.5 or 1.6kg easily goes in it. I have a special chip tray from dealz I use to take it in and out. There is a massive thread in the food forum where I posted it.

The volume of the regular is listed by philips, but its all rough estimates anyway, people should look at youtube videos to get an idea.

I would want the 5L powerXL if mine broke, or something even bigger.

The big philips ones can go cheap on amazon.de from time to time.

I got that deal...just by chance I was looking at one and I couldn't believe my eyes. So ordered one quickly. Went back on a few mins later to order a 2nd one but price was gone up. Didnt think it would be honoured for £80 but it was and its still in the box upstairs as I was only after purchasing the smaller version at the time. Absolutely love it...its used every day in our house if not 3 times a dayðŸ˜‚

I have an XXL and it's the best purchase ever, have used it every day, often multiple times. My gf was saying she would love an airfryer after using mine, but would want a bigger one haha.
