The Lincoln Project pick a single target and hit it hard in 30 to 60 second bites. Short sharp and to the point. This runs for over 11 minutes and each time they show a clip of Biden they have to cut back to some guy who needs to spend a few minutes explaining why what Biden just said was somehow terrible , because without the contrived explanation , it mostly wouldn't make sense or stand alone. I'm not saying that there isn't material out there for someone to create Anti-Biden viral clips a la the Lincoln project , I'm sure there is, but that is absolutely not it.
LessOutragePlz wrote: » I probably should have said that it's not a direct comparison to the Lincoln Project but more that the content of both videos is comparable in that they are both attacks on the candidate where as the video I posted is a more softly softly approach rather than a short sharp attack As for the man needing to explain the clips in the video I don't think that's necessarily true you could easily see why they were included to show Biden's inability to speak coherently on occasion and to say that a contrived explanation from the man in the video is required isn't true IMO As for finding it funny I thought it was funny watching Biden stumble and bumble during some of his speeches and I also laughed when he couldn't read the teleprompter correctly.

You've just posted an 11 minute video by a randomer that an undecided voter is unlikely to watch. Your video is more akin to those guys who make lengthy videos getting annoyed by Star Wars films being too "woke".

LessOutragePlz wrote: » The video is highlighting some of Biden's gaffes and flaws the man in the video isn't saying anything is too woke so the star wars comparison is completely irrelevant IMO.

Quin_Dub wrote: » They did decline the request for a 4th debate , but they did say that if "both sides can agree" they might be open to moving one of the debates to an earlier date. Cue the Trump campaign claiming that Biden is "running scared" and "afraid to leave his basement" when he inevitably wants to stick to the agreed schedule.

How many times has Trump corrected the record. Even yesterday he was asked on what basis he called the Beirut explosion and attack and instead of saying that it was now clear it wasn't he doubled down.He is incapable of accepting that anything he says or does is wrong, or even could be perceived to be wrong. One aspect of real leadership is to understand that its not what you meant to say, but what people understood form what you said and you need to adjust your message to ensure that they align.

Leroy42 wrote: » It is clearly a sign that the Trump team are worried. Traditionally, debates offer little to incumbents or front runners. At best they can maintain their advantage. The debates were good for Trump in 2016 since the expectations were so low. Once he didn't completely fall apart, and he came pretty close in the 1st debate, it would be seen that he did well against the vastly more experienced HC. So asking for a debate, when he has spent the past four years actively avoiding talking to what he considers to be hostile press only supports the idea that they are failing around looking for something. The hope would be that he would bully and beat Biden in a debate. And IMO, he probably is right to think that. Biden would look to be staesman like, stick to facts and talking points, whilst Trump will try to bully and shout and demean and pull him into the gutter. THat is an area that Trump undoubtedly has the advantage. That is not to say that I think Biden will necessarily do badly, just that the possibility, on both sides, exists. But with Biden leading the polls, there is simply no need to increase any risks. What I would say is that the Walace interview and then particularly the Axios interview gives a big insight into how to totally derial Trump. HC decided to almost ignore Trump and stick the her talking points, but it is clear that by directly challenging Trump, and following up, it is very easy to get him totally off centre and he starts to flap about and becomes more and more incoherent.
